Gaby defends her and Thomas's feelings to Taylor.
In the cabana at the Bel Air mansion, Gaby tells Taylor that she's not leaving, as she and Thomas are in love. Taylor reminds Gaby that they had a deal; she would vouch for Gaby and Thomas's marriage in name only as long as they stayed in separate rooms while they went to school, with no public displays of affection, especially not sex! She thinks the two teens are two young to commit to each other and should be dating other people. [And just how would they explain that to Agent Dunn, Taylor? Or would those dates be in disguise?] Gaby however claims that she and Thomas are in love. Taylor says that this is just the kind of complication she wanted to avoid. Gaby asks if that's how Taylor sees her, as a complication. Taylor reminds Gaby that this marriage was an act of kindness by Thomas to keep her from being deported. They're too young to be in love. Or is it that she's too poor for this family? Gaby asks. Taylor insists that Gaby's background has nothing to do with this. Then what is it about? Gaby asks. Taylor insists that Thomas isn't ready for a sexual relationship with Gaby, whether Gaby accepts that or not. The bottom line is that Gaby broke the rules, so she has to leave. Just then, Thomas comes in and tells his mom that if Gaby's leaving, then he is, too!

Thomas voices his feelings for Gaby.
Taylor tells Thomas to stop being ridiculous; she trusted him and Gaby not to fool around, but here they are, about to have sex. Thomas insists that it was his idea, but Taylor points out that Gaby knew what he intended. Thomas says that he told Gaby that it would be OK, since they're married. In name only, Taylor points out. Not anymore, Thomas retorts; he reminds his mom how confusing the last few months have been in their lives and states that he couldn't have gotten through that without Gaby's support. Taylor points out that he just said he was confused. Not about Gaby, he responds. He loves her. Taylor tells him that his father was right all along and she was wrong, since he and Gaby didn't understand that they had to play by the rules. Thomas takes the blame for that and promises not to cross the line again if Gaby can stay. Taylor agrees to let Gaby spend the night so they can talk about this in the morning; maybe Gaby can visit her cousins in Phoenix, she suggests. Thomas agrees. Gaby tells Taylor that she's sorry and asks Taylor to hear her and Thomas out. She swears that she doesn't intend to turn Thomas against Taylor. Taylor bids them goodnight and leaves the cabana, leaving a frustrated Gaby and Thomas behind.

Taylor leaves a message for Ridge about Thomas and Gaby.
Back at the house, Taylor leaves a voice mail for Ridge. She admits she was wrong to agree to let Gaby stay here. She adds that she caught Thomas with Gaby just in time to keep their family from getting into yet more trouble. Meanwhile, Gaby is alone in her room, unable to sleep, when there's a knock at the door. She thinks it's Taylor, but it's Thomas. She tells him that he shouldn't be here, but he tells her to forget what his mom wants. But his mom is already angry at them, Gaby insists. There's no point in his mom being angry about nothing, Thomas tells her. She reminds him that his mom will have her deported, but he promises not to let that happen. He tells her to trust him. They start to kiss and they profess their love for each other. Thomas then takes off his shirt, picks Gaby up and carries her to the bed.

Eric and Bridget discuss her lie about the abortion.
Eric's at his beach house, on the phone with Brooke, who explains that Bridget lied about her abortion to test Nick's commitment. Eric reminds her what she told him when they last spoke, about how she and Nick admitted their feelings for each other. She tells him to forget about that: she can't have Nick in her life, for Bridget's sake and the baby's. Eric reminds her that Nick is in love with her, but she responds that Nick intends to live up to his commitment to Bridget. As for her, she intends to forget Nick, and she needs Eric to do the same.

Before Eric can answer, Bridget drops by, so he ends the call. Bridget guesses from what she overheard that he spoke with her mom. He says he did, and he admits being upset to hear about the abortion. He asks her why she'd lie that way. She says she's sorry; she knows it was wrong, but she thought she could test Nick's feelings for her mom. Based on how it turned out, she knows she should have trusted them rather than making a stupid mistake. Eric turns away from Bridget; she senses something wrong and asks if he's worried that she's wrong to trust her mom and Nick. Eric says he's just concerned about her, since it's not like her to lie about an abortion. She guesses that she did it because Nick and her mom admitted they had feelings for each other. Deep down, she always knew those feelings were there, and that drove her crazy. But now she knows that her mom and Nick have faced those feelings and moved on, which leaves her and Nick free to focus on their child. She asks Eric if he's excited about being a grandfather again. He says he is, especially since she's so excited. He wants her to be happy. She says that she is; she and Nick are having a child, and she has the support of both her parents, so what could be better?

Brooke tells Nick that they can't be together.
At Brooke's house, Nick pounds on her locked door, calling for her to let him in. She says he shouldn't be here, but he intends to have his say, even if all her nosy neighbors have to hear it. Brooke relents and lets him in, but she tells him that he should be with Bridget and the baby. She doesn't want to see him and asks him to forget about her. He asks her how to do that. He tells her that he just came from his boat, trying to defend their decision to forget their feelings for each other to his mother - and when he heard himself, he realized that it's not how he feels. As much as she wants it, he can't let her go. But they agreed not to put themselves in this dangerous position, she points out. She agreed, he says. He, however, can only see that their feelings just won't go away. They both felt it that night on the boat, and they both feel it now and have to deal with it. Brooke says that she HAS dealt with it, which is why she'll never forgive him if he lets her daughter down. He suggests that he's letting Bridget down by lying. But he's not lying, she says, as he loves Bridget. Not like he loves her, he says; he knows she doesn't want to hear it, but his mother finally got through to him that it's true, so they can't just turn their backs on it. But they have to, Brooke insists, to keep Bridget happy!

Nick tells Brooke that he needs her.
Nick tells Nick that Bridget will see through their act. Then it can't be an act, Brooke says. They have to end this, here and now. She won't disappoint Bridget again. She puts her hands on his chest and tells him to please, go. Nick accuses her of avoiding him because she's afraid. She is, she says, for her daughter. He says they have to be honest with Bridget, but she reminds him how Bridget reacted before. This isn't like before! he cries out. She says this won't happen, but he says it already has. He reminds her how she thought for years that Ridge was the man who would make her happy, but now she knows she was wrong. Ridge let her down, but he didn't. He puts his hands on her shoulders and says that he refuses to hide, because he wants to hold her and make love to her. She tells him to stop. He says he needs her. Bridget and the baby need him, she says. But she's the woman he wants, he insists. She pulls away and tells him to stop. She runs for the stairs and tells him to get out! Nick follows and takes her in his arms; he kisses her passionately and tells her that he won't let her run from this. "God help me!" she moans, relenting. They keep kissing each other feverishly as they slowly lower themselves to the floor.
