Gaby delivers a message from Ridge.
Thomas is in his dad's office at Forrester, looking at photos. He looks from one of Ridge, Brooke, him, his sisters, Hope and R.J. to one of his parents. Gaby comes in. Thomas asks why she's here; she reminds him that she's his grandmother's personal assistant and says that she's helping a busy Megan by dropping off some reports. She says that Megan also asked her to tell him that his dad wants him home ASAP. He asks if his dad is OK; Gaby reminds him that Megan talked to his dad, not her. He apologizes; it's just that he's been worried about his dad's claims that his mom's still alive. Gaby tells him that she met his mom once when she was younger, at his grandma's house; she recalls that Taylor was kind to her and her mom, so she can imagine how much it hurts him to hear his dad say that his mom is still alive. Still, she thinks Ridge must miss Taylor deeply to think she could come back to them. Thomas admits this is freaking him out, especially since they moved on after his mom died. He misses his mom, just like Gaby misses her's. But it hurts him to see his dad go through this; it's like he's going through it himself.

Thomas tries to understand what his father is going through.
Gaby tells Thomas that his dad is a strong man, but even strong men have moments. Thomas says he knows that. It's just that he sees his dad hurting and wants to help him, but he doesn't know how. Still, he can understand how his dad feels, since he'd give anything to have his mom back. The thing he misses most is the way she could make bad stuff go away just by holding him. When his mom did that, he felt... Like nothing could harm him, Gaby guesses, and like he was safe and really loved. Thomas admits it's been a while since he felt that way and he misses it, even after all this time. Gaby tells him to come over and gives him a comforting hug.

The twins anxiously wonder what Ridge's surprise is.
At Ridge's house, the twins anxiously ask Ridge what his surprise is. It's driving them crazy, since he wouldn't even give them a hint during the drive home. Ridge says that every one of their questions is about to be answered, right now. He looks past the twins to where Taylor stands by the window. The girls turn to see what their dad is looking at and are stunned to see their mom! Taylor comes over to hug her girls, but a horrified Phoebe drops her books and runs upstairs! Taylor calls after her, to no avail. Steffy, meanwhile, is speechless. Ridge asks if she's OK. Steffy apologizes for her sister: it's just that this woman looks and sounds so much like her mom. But this can't be her mom, because her mom's dead! No, Taylor says, it was a mistake. Ridge says he'll explain everything in time, but right now, all Steffy needs to know is... Then it's true? Steffy asks, crying. Taylor reaches out to her and says it is; she hugs Steffy and tells her that mommy's home.

Bridget is stunned by Brooke's news.
Brooke is in her bedroom when Bridget comes in, asking what's so important that she had to rush over and slip in the back way. She asks if something happened to Ridge. Brooke assumes that Nick told her about Ridge digging up the grave. Bridget says he did, and she can't believe it. She sees her mom is worried about Ridge and says she's just as worried. But whatever's going on with Ridge, she's sure the family will get him the help he needs. But Ridge doesn't need help, Brooke says. Of course he does, Bridget says, since he thinks his dead wife is alive. Taylor IS alive, Brooke explains, and is downstairs with Ridge and Steffy. Bridget is stunned!

Brooke tells Bridget that the kids are about to get an amazing gift.
Brooke and Bridget go to the balcony and looks down on Steffy and Taylor hugging. Brooke puts her arm around Bridget, who smiles as she watches the reunion. They go back to Brooke's room. Bridget still can't believe it. Brooke tells her daughter how Taylor was in a coma, under Prince Omar's care, until recently. Once she came out of the coma and regained her strength, she fought to get home to her family. Bridget tries to imagine what Taylor went through. She recalls what it was like living in this house after Taylor died: the kids felt so much grief, so she can only guess how they'll feel to learn that their mother is alive. Brooke says that the children have been given the greatest gift imaginable - their mother, alive and well - and nothing is more important than that.

Taylor sings to get through to Phoebe.
Phoebe lies in her bed, crying. Taylor opens the door and peeks in. Seeing her daughter crying, she starts to sing "You Are My Sunshine." Hearing her mom singing the familiar song brings more tears to Phoebe's eyes. When Taylor finishes the song, Phoebe sits up, looks at her mom and smiles. Taylor sits down on the bed and says it's OK; she's back home now and nothing is going to take her away from her family ever again. They both break down into tears and hug each other. Ridge and Steffy come up and watch the tearful embrace from the doorway. Looking over Taylor's shoulder, Phoebe sees them and nods to her sister, who joins them on the bed in the embrace. The girls have so many questions for their mom. Taylor says that she and Ridge will answer them all. That can wait, Phoebe says, since this is the most amazing miracle ever. Steffy agrees. Taylor wants them to know that she always thought of them while she was away. She can't replace the time they lost, but she promises to always be part of their lives.

Ridge tells Thomas that something amazing is waiting inside.
Ridge closes the girls' bedroom door. Thomas comes home and heads upstairs, where he finds Ridge. He hopes Ridge knows how worried everyone was when he bolted from the hospital without telling anyone and asks if Ridge is OK. Ridge apologizes for worrying everyone, but he had to prove he wasn't crazy. Thomas tells him to quit acting like his mom's alive; it's upsetting everyone, especially his sisters. Ridge looks to the bedroom door. Thomas asks if the girls are home; Ridge says he picked them up at grandma's and their in their room with someone. Thomas thinks he hears crying from inside. That's because their happier than they've ever been, Ridge says. He tells his son that something incredible has happened and motions for him to go inside. Thomas opens the door and is stunned to see his mom on the bed with his sisters. As tears well up in his eyes, he asks, "Is it really you, Mom?" It is, his sisters reply. Taylor gets up from the bed and walks over to Thomas, who stands there in disbelief. He looks shocked as Taylor touches his face and tells him how beautiful he is. She hugs him. The twins, and then Ridge come over and join in one great, big family hug...

... as Brooke comes to the doorway and watches...
