Ridge warns Nick to butt out.
Ridge sits on his balcony, remembering the first moments in the cemetery when he was reunited with Taylor. He remembers talking with her about the unbreakable connection they shared and then kissing her.As he comes back to reality, Nick drops by to check on Brooke. Ridge says that she went to the office. Nick says he'll catch her later and turns to leave, but Ridge asks if there's anything he can help with. Nick says he just wanted to make sure Brooke was OK. My, Ridge asks Nick, isn't he the good friend? Nick thinks Brooke needs one now, given how she sounded when she called the boat looking for Bridget last night; she sounded quite upset that she wasn't sleeping with her husband. Ridge tells Nick to butt out. Nick says he's not passing judgement here. In fact, he doesn't envy Ridge one bit, but something has to happen here. He reminds Ridge of the commitment he made to Brooke, which is why he thinks Ridge better find a place for Taylor quickly. Who says Taylor's leaving? Ridge asks. Nick asks if that means Ridge is asking Brooke to leave. What it means, Ridge says, is that there are a lot of decisions to be made. Nick agrees that this is a bizarre situation, but he can't believe Ridge would even consider turning his back on Brooke, Hope or RJ. Ridge says he doesn't intend to. Then what is he doing? Nick asks. Or does he have no idea?

Nick asks Ridge not to make a huge mistake.
Ridge tells Nick that he's caught in the middle; he doesn't want to hurt Brooke or Taylor, and he just wants to do right by all his kids. Nick points out that Thomas and the twins are older, but Hope and RJ are younger and need their father. He recalls how he backed out of the picture when they found out RJ was Ridge's and not his: that was the hardest thing he ever had to do. And then there's Hope, who sees Ridge as her father now. He begs Ridge not to make a huge mistake and walk out on those kids. Ridge says he can't prioritize his kids that way; Hope and RJ deserve a father, but Thomas and the twins grew up without a mother. But now, their mother fought to get back to them, and he can't ignore that. Nick asks Ridge if he still loves Taylor. Ridge says he never stopped, since he didn't lose her by choice. But he moved on. That's right, Nick says: he committed to Brooke. Ridge says he loves both women. But he can't have them both, Nick says, which is why he has to stop acting like a moron and make a decision. Ridge says that he knows! Nick reminds Ridge that he's married to Brooke, who saved her heart for him. He thinks Ridge finally saw what a great girl he had in Brooke and made her dreams come true. Now he has her, RJ and Hope, and they're all counting on him, which is why he better not let them down.

Thomas introduces his mother to a new friend.
Taylor, Thomas and the twins arrive at the Forrester mansion to spend some time at the pool. Stephanie and Eric greet them. Gaby comes down; Thomas introduces his mom to Helen's daughter, who is thrilled to see Taylor. Taylor says she was sorry to hear about Helen and offers to be there if Gaby needs to talk. Gaby sees where Thomas gets it from; she tells Taylor how Thomas helped her through some rough times. Taylor is glad to hear that. She sends the kids to the pool; Phoebe doesn't want to leave her mom, but Taylor assures her she'll be right here with Grandma and Grandpa. Once the kids head down, Eric remarks to Taylor that the kids don't want to leave her; she says she knows how they feel. Eric wishes he could let out that she's alive, but she wants to wait so she can enjoy being with her kids. Stephanie says what a blessing it is to have Taylor back and hugs her.

The twins invite Gaby to share their mother.
Down by the pool, Gaby has changed into a swimsuit and sits with Thomas and the twins. She says Taylor looked wonderful and guess they're so glad to have her back. Steffy says they are. Thomas and Phoebe agree; Steffy says she doesn't even mind being told by her mom to clean her room. Thomas laughs that it won't last, but Gaby thinks it will last forever. Thomas sees that Gaby is upset and apologizes for going on about his mom when she just lost hers. She says she loves hearing about their mother and is thrilled that they have her back. Gaby starts crying and says she's sorry she's ruining their happy day this way. They say they understand, since they know what it's like to think their mother is gone from their lives. They offer to "share" their mom with her. She says they don't have to do that. Thomas says he knows no one could ever replace her mom, but his has lots of love to offer, so why not get to know her? Gaby says she'd like that. The girls say they would too and hug Gaby.

Taylor chats about her return.
Meanwhile, in the main house, Taylor talks with Eric and Stephanie over tea about her amazing return. Stephanie says that she can already feel the family getting back on track now that Taylor is home again, and she's sure things will go back to the way they were in no time. But a lot has changed, Taylor says. Stephanie guesses she means Brooke and reminds Taylor that Ridge's house is hers too. Taylor says that Brooke is being pretty gracious. She tells Stephanie that Ridge told Brooke that they can't share a room last night. Stephanie is glad to hear that and guesses it was Ridge's idea. Actually, Taylor says, it was Thomas's. Stephanie thinks Brooke should have offered to step aside. At least Brooke is making an effort, Taylor says; she admits Brooke has matured and points out how Brooke was good to her kids in her absence. Eric agrees, but Stephanie thinks there are some things Taylor doesn't know. She thinks those things might give Taylor a different opinion of Brooke. She looks to Eric, who just looks back at her in disbelief.

Eric is upset when Stephanie drags up the past.
Taylor asks Stephanie if she's saying that Brooke wasn't good with the kids. She was, Stephanie says, but that doesn't mean Brooke had the perfect marriage. All marriages face challenges, Taylor says. There were issues even before the marriage, Stephanie says. For one thing, there was Hope. And then there was that fiasco in South America on the honeymoon. Eric tells Stephanie to stop right there! He won't have her marring the miracle of Taylor's return by dredging up the past, just to bash Brooke! Stephanie says he's right, but she thinks something has to change. Taylor says that Ridge obviously loves Brooke. But it's not like the love he has for her, Stephanie tells Taylor. Believing that is what kept her going, Taylor says. She looks to Stephanie's neck and sees a cross around it that she gave Stephanie. Stephanie says she started wearing it again now that her faith bas been restored by Taylor's return. She believes that things can now go back to the way they were before Brooke, which is why she feels blessed to have Taylor back. Eric watches, looking concerned. Taylor tells Stephanie how much she appreciates their looking out for her. One of the twins calls from the pool house for Taylor to come down, so she goes down.

Stephanie tells Eric how she really feels.
Eric and Stephanie agree that Taylor is as compassionate as ever. Stephanie just hopes that Brooke will not use that against Taylor. Eric tells her to stop stirring the pot, but she says she's just being realistic. She knows Taylor just got back, but she also knows it's just a matter of time before Brooke makes a bid to hold onto Ridge. Eric guesses that she's going to do everything in her power to get Brooke out of Ridge's life by dredging up the sordid details of Brooke's relationship with Nick. Stephanie thinks Taylor deserves to know. He says Taylor just wants to be with her family. Stephanie agrees, but she also thinks it's time to end all the pain and embarrassment by getting Brooke out of their lives. Eric reminds her that she had finally accepted Brooke. She only did that because Ridge forced her to accept his marriage, she says. Brooke even threatened to keep her from her grandchildren, she explains, something Taylor would never do, so she was forced to put on a happy face with Brooke. But now that Taylor is back, she'll be damned to allow Taylor to be forced to share her home and her husband with Brooke.
Stephanie picks up the phone and calls Brooke; she wants to come over and talk. When she hangs up, Eric is furious; he thought they agreed not to interfere. She says she never agreed. Eric warns her not to get involved, but she says Brooke involved her when she slept her way through this family. Brooke has compromised them, and she won't let that continue. Ridge has a second chance with Taylor now, and she'll do anything in her power to make that happen. She intends to make Brooke see that she has to move out of that house, and she has to do it today!
