Thorne and Eric discuss the mineshaft photo.
Thorne drops by Forrester to tell Eric that he fired Amber. Eric thinks she should be in jail - and she would be if Sally hadn't threatened to take the photo to the media if they press charges! He fumes that he warned Thorne that Sally couldn't be trusted. Thorne asks Eric if he spoke to Ridge; Eric says he did, and he walked out on him, because he couldn't accept Ridge's inappropriate feelings for Bridget. Thorne admits Ridge has made some big mistakes lately, but he believes Ridge's claim that the kiss was innocent. Eric says he'll never be convinced that Ridge having feelings for Bridget is innocent. Thorne asks if that means he hopes Ridge and Brooke split up. No, Eric says, but he wishes he hasn't trusted Ridge when he swore he had no more feelings for Bridget. Thorne reminds Eric that he's a father, too, so he understands Eric's need to protect his daughter. But he also thinks they'd have seen some signs if Ridge really had sexual feelings for Bridget. Besides, Ridge and Brooke love each other, and Bridget's falling for Nick. Eric hopes Thorne's right, but he fears Bridget's falling for Nick to deal with her feelings for Ridge. Thorne doesn't think Nick would accept or tolerate that; he really believes Bridget's moved on.

Massimo tells Stephanie not to worry about Bridget.
Stephanie visits Massimo at the Marone manor to talk about the mineshaft photo. She hopes Brooke will be smart and forgive Ridge. But will Ridge forgive her for throwing him out? Mass wonders. Stephanie reminds him that Ridge crossed the line, but Mass points out that Bridget was dying. Stephanie agrees that there are mixed emotions here, but she just prays that the photo doesn't leak to the media. Mass doesn't think that will happen, since that photo is the only thing keeping Amber free. Stephanie worries about how this affects Bridget; Mass tells her not to, as Bridget is on the Marone jet right now, enjoying a romantic jaunt with his son Dominick. Stephanie admits that Nick's been a good friend to Bridget - and speaking of romantic evenings, she notes all the candles in the room and asks Mass if he has romance on his mind, too. He tells her that he's invited Jackie over for dinner.

Stephanie wonders why Massimo wants anything to do with Jackie.
Stephanie asks why he'd want anything to do with Jackie; he reminds her that Jackie's his son's mother. Still, she thinks he deserves better than Jackie and doesn't want him to compromise his dignity. Just then, Jackie walks in and overhears; she slams the door to get Stephanie's attention and tells the Forrester matriarch not to hold back. Stephanie accuses Jackie of returning to the scene of the crime, but Jackie says she was invited. They're interrupted by the phone ringing; Mass excuses himself to take that call and tells the two of them to behave.

Jackie tells Stephanie to mind her own business.
Stephanie accuses Jackie of running back to Massimo now that Deacon's gone. Jackie says that's none of Stephanie's concern, but Stephanie says Mass's well being is very much her concern. She refuses to let Jackie slither her way back into Massimo's life. Jackie thinks that's Massimo's decision to make, but Stephanie suspects his judgement is clouded. Jackie hardly thinks Stephanie's is clear and wonders why Stephanie can't believe that she's going back to the woman she was before all the lies. Why aim so low? Stephanie asks. Jackie doesn't really care what Stephanie thinks, since the only opinion that matters is Massimo's, and she's confident that he'll forgive her. She bets Stephanie's crossed the line herself and gone too far for her child's sake. Stephanie asks how anything Jackie has done has been in Nick's best interests. Jackie says she has nothing to prove to her. But she does, Stephanie argues, since Massimo trusts Stephanie's opinion. She thinks Jackie's only here because she's the mother of Mass's son, and that won't go very far. Jackie's had about enough. Stephanie tells Jackie to enjoy her dinner, since it will be her last chance to play lady of the manor if Stephanie has her way.

Nick offers Bridget a fine “delicacy.”
Aboard the Marone jet, Bridget stops Nick from peeking out the window to guess their destination. He asks for a clue; are they going to Hawaii? She says he's getting hot, but they're not going to Hawaii. She kisses him. Nick says he likes the way she's learning to surprise him, and now he has a surprise for her. He brings out a covered tray with a bucket on it. Bridget guesses it's champagne and caviar, so she's surprised when Nick unveils one of life's “finer delicacies,” buffalo chicken wings with blue cheese and beer. This sure seems first class, Bridget laughs. Nick proposes a toast and offers her some sauce. She says she's fine, so Nick suggests they dig in. She takes a bite and is taken aback by how hot the wings are. Nick tells to cool it down with some beer and have another. When they're done with Nick's "food of the gods" - which Bridget thinks makes quite a decongestant - he offers dessert. She asks if he has mud pies, but he has something else in mind: he takes out a jewelry box and tells her to open it. She's stunned to find a diamond necklace inside. She says it's beautiful; just like her, he says.

Bridget asks Nick if he loves her more than any woman - including her mom.
Bridget admires the beautiful necklace; she loves it and can't believe he did this. He puts it around her neck. She asks if there's a card. He says he's lousy with words, but she thinks that's just an excuse to avoid expressing his feelings in writing. OK, he says; he takes his finger and scrawls across his hand, "To Bridget -- love, Nick." They kiss. When they stop kissing, She laughs that she wasn't expecting something so heavy a note, using the word love, when he was trying to lighten her up. He says it's easy to lighten her up, since she's like a lighthouse that brightens people's lives with a smile. She bets he has his own way of making people happy, since he's making her happy so effortlessly. He admits this hasn't been easy for him, since he's the kind of guy who just sails toward the horizon. The thought of doing that scares him now, since he'd be lonely without her. She starts crying; he asks if those are happy tears. She says she'd be waiting for him to return from his voyage. She thinks this whole trip has been so wonderful, but she has one fear. After Deacon and Ridge, she's wary of falling for another man who has feelings for her mom. Nick assures her that she's the special person in his life, but she can't lose another man to her mom. That's why she needs him to be honest with her and promise that he cares for her more than anyone - including her mother.
