Bridget is intrigued by Nick's idea.
Bridget and Nick are aboard the Marone jet returning from dinner in the Napa Valley. Bridget is a bit tipsy from all the wine tasting they did. She tells him that she was glad to get away from all the busybodies - his mom, Taylor and Stephanie - who try to tell her that he's still in love with her mother. Nick assures her that she's the only one he loves. She says she knows that, but she's disappointed; she wanted their wedding to pull everyone together, but everyone is now telling her to wait. Nick has an idea to put a cork in Stephanie's mouth. Bridget laughs at the thought of Stephanie spitting the cork back at Nick, who says that he really has an idea. They can't tell her to wait to get married if she and he are already man and wife, he reasons, so why not get married tonight? He breaks out the champagne and orders the pilot to change course for Las Vegas. The next time they make love, he says, he'll be a married man. And she'll be Mrs. Dominick Marone, she says. Nick says that he'd like to have *Bridget Forrester* one last time; she says she's available and kisses him.

Nick tells the chapel attendant that he and Bridget are serious.
Soon after, the pair arrives at a wedding chapel; Nick is wearing a sparkling blue jacket and making quips about Elvis, while Bridget is wearing a gaudy pink outfit. They see the attendant in the chapel, who asks for the marriage license. Nick says they have it as Bridget goes on about her handsome groom. The attendant sees they've been drinking; no, Nick says, they've been celebrating, and he assures the woman that they're serious about this. Bridget agrees. They even tried to get married once before, Nick says, but his bride's step-father's dead wife showed up. The woman says she's heard it all before. Bridget asks if she'll help them. The woman says she will, but they'll have to wait, since there's another couple in the chapel ahead of them. Nick's sure they can occupy their time somehow while they wait.

Thomas reassures a doubt-plagued Gaby.
And inside the chapel, the other couple ahead of Nick and Bridget is none other than Thomas and Gaby, who drove there to get married. Gaby is still unsure that this is what they should be doing, but Thomas tries to convinces her to marry him.

Taylor and Stephanie get Catherine to come clean.
At Ridge's house, Taylor sees Stephanie holding her arm and asks if she's OK. It's nothing that an aspirin and a contract on Brooke's life won't cure, Stephanie tells her. She explains how confident Brooke was earlier, like she had an ace up her sleeve. Taylor thinks that's just how Brooke is, but Stephanie still thinks Brooke is up to something. Just then, Catherine comes in looking for Hope's doll. Taylor asks Catherine if she's helping Brooke put the kids down; actually, Catherine says, Brooke asked her to watch over Hope and RJ tonight. After Catherine leaves, Taylor and Stephanie have the same thought: Brooke must have gone to the beach house early! Stephanie says she's going over there before it's too late, while Taylor tries to call Ridge.

Brooke tries her best to seduce Ridge.
At the beach house, Ridge and Brooke are still in the shower, as Ridge tries to resist Brooke's seduction. As the phone rings outside, Ridge reminds Brooke that they all agreed on the ground rules. Brooke kisses him and says that he's her husband, so she needs him right now. Ridge pulls away and steps out of the shower, grabbing a towel and heading for the bedroom. Brooke follows, wearing one of his shirts. She straddles his lap and tells him that tonight, it's just the two of them, just as it always will be. She kisses him again. She knows he wants this, so she can't understand why he's suddenly playing by the rules. Because he made the rules, he says, and she needs to understand that. What she understands, she says, is that they have a special, intimate relationship and a connection that is deeper than words. She tells him that she needs him and starts to kiss him again, but he pulls away and says this isn't fair to Taylor. Forget about Taylor, Brooke says. He says he can't - and since he can't resist her when she's like this, he's going to get them something to eat. Brooke reminds him that she loves oysters and champagne as he leaves the room.

Taylor calls Stephanie's cell phone and tells Stephanie that Ridge didn't answer. It's a good thing she's going there, Stephanie says. Taylor asks what she's going to do when she gets there. Stephanie says she'd love to kill Brooke but doesn't want to go to jail. Brooke might not be there, Taylor points out. Stephanie however is sure that Brooke is there, seducing Ridge as they speak; that's the way Brooke is. She ends the call and heads for the beach house.

Mystery man Dante gives Taylor a call.
When the phone rings at Ridge's house, Taylor answers, hoping it's Ridge, but it's Dante (the mystery man from the press conference, referred to by his name for the first time). He bets she's surprised to hear from him; he wanted to make sure she was OK, but he saw that she's even better, and is radiant in fact. Taylor asks if she saw him at the press conference. He says she did; after all they went through to get her home, he wanted to see her for himself. She tells him she's grateful for that, but... She's with her husband and children, he says, where she belongs. Still, he would hate to leave LA without seeing her, so maybe he could stop by in the morning. Taylor doesn't think that would be a good idea; even though she's grateful to him, she doesn't think she can see him. She tells him to take care and hangs up.

Stephanie isn't going to let Brooke get away with breaking the rules.
Back at the Beach House, Brooke pours some wine, lights some candles and turns on some music. She's thinking about dinner with Ridge when there's a knock at the door: she peeks through the window and sees Stephanie, who orders her to open this door now! Brooke pulls down the shade on Stephanie, who uses her key to let herself in. Brooke asks Stephanie what she's doing there. As if she didn't know, Stephanie says, breaking the rules and standing here dressed like she is. Brooke says she didn't break anything, but Stephanie thinks she should be ashamed of her little seduction act. Brooke says it's not like that; she's just a wife wanting to be with her husband. But she couldn't wait until her turn tomorrow, Stephanie accuses, so she threw on her "uniform" and rushed over. Brooke tells Stephanie that she missed seeing her with Ridge in the shower. That proves just how desperate and needy Brooke is, Stephanie says. As opposed to the "saintly" Taylor who can do no wrong? Brooke asks, wondering what man would want to be married to a saint. And to hell with what's best for everyone else? Stephanie asks. Ridge is trying to decide what's best, Brooke says. Stephanie accuses Brooke of stacking the deck; she thinks Brooke could have gotten away with that in the past, but there is too much at stake this time, and too many people can be hurt. That's why she's not going to let Brooke get away with this!
