In the Vegas wedding chapel, Nick grabs a bottle of "Champagne to go" from a vending machine and looks over the shoulder of a slot machine player. As the slot machine chimes out with the wedding march, Bridget hears her song and slips on a garter so she can practice walking down the aisle. She stumbles a bit. Nick sees she's a bit tense and tells her to relax. Sitting down on his lap, she says she's getting tired. He offers her some champagne as a pick-me-up; she asks the sailor what his rush is. He says that he just wants to get married and wishes the other couple in front of them would finish. Getting restless, Nick thinks she needs some flowers and a veil and asks the attendant for her best, complete with photos. They have a special, the attendant says. Nick tells her that money's no object when it comes to his beautiful bride. He wants the works, so everyone in Vegas will see how much he loves his bride-to-be.

Gaby has doubts about getting married.
And in the chapel, Thomas and Gaby stand at the altar with the minister. Thomas asks about a walk down the aisle; that costs extra, the minister says. Gaby says no thanks, but Thomas asks if she's sure. The minister offers to move on to the next couple so they can talk about it. Thomas asks the minister to wait and asks Gaby if she's having second thoughts. She says she is. Thomas reminds her that this is the only way for her to get her green card and stay in the US. He assures her that everything will be fine, but Gaby is still nervous. Marriage is a sacrament, she says, even if they aren't in a church. He tells her to think of this as a form she needs for her green card, but she can't, because wedding vows are supposed to mean something. They mean that she gets to stay in the US and make her mother's dream come true, he tells her. All she has to do is say "I do." But what about his family? she asks. His parents taught him to do the right thing, he replies, so he's sure they'd understand his doing this to help her out of her jam. The minister clears his throat; Thomas and Gaby agree to go ahead.

Nick and Bridget realize that they shouldn't wed in Vegas.
Outside, Nick and Bridget look through the various wedding packages for one that they like. Looking over the options like t-shirts and bumper stickers, Nick asks if she wants something classier. They're in Vegas, she reminds him. Where Sinatra and Mia Farrow got married, he says, and Elvis and Priscilla. "And me and Deacon," she adds. Nick suddenly realizes that this isn't the wedding she planned on and thinks she deserves better, so he tells the attendant that he left his wallet on his private jet - sure he did, the attendant says - so they'll be going. Bridget asks him if this is about what she said about Deacon. It's about the two of them starting their lives together, he says: he intends for they to do it right. But how can they if they keep putting it off? she asks. Nick promises that it will happen, and it will be perfect when it does. Bridget apologizes for ruining his plans, but he thinks it worked out in the end. Maybe they were lucky that the other couple took so long, he suggests. Bridget says she'll never regret marrying him. Nick agrees, but since this isn't the wedding they want, he thinks they should leave. He ushers Bridget out, and neither of them realizes that she left her purse behind.

Thomas gets tongue-tied at the altar.
In the chapel, the minister tells the bride and groom to hold hands. Before they start, Gaby wants to thank Thomas. When he proposed, she couldn't believe it. Her mother always told her she would get married when she found her Prince Charming, and she thinks she has in him. She's ready to become his wife. Thomas realizes that Gaby has no flowers; the minister says they have some in the lobby, but he'll have to charge them more if they stop again, so Thomas tells him to go ahead. The minister asks their names and then asks Thomas if he takes this woman to be his wife. All of a sudden, a tongue-tied Thomas can't find the words to say, "I do."

Stephanie wants Brooke to do the right thing.
At the Beach House, Brooke tells Stephanie not to waste her breath with her threats. Stephanie thinks that Brooke is the threat, to Taylor and the family she built with Ridge, and she won't let Brooke ruin this family - or herself, for that matter! She asks Brooke if this is really the way she wants Ridge to see her when he's trying to decide between her and Taylor. Brooke points out that Ridge and Taylor share many memories of their marriage here, so she had to find a way to remind Ridge of his life with her. With sex? Stephanie asks. Brooke calls it passion, a way for her to connect with Ridge. Stephanie accuses her of always throwing herself at Ridge whenever she gets insecure. Brooke says she doesn't need to throw herself at anyone. And she didn't need to come her tonight at all. Stephanie says - and that's what bothers her, because she knows Brooke can do better. She recalls how Brooke did the right thing for the family by voting against Ridge to keep Eric in place as CEO; she respected Brooke for that, and she'll respect her again if she once more does the right thing and steps aside, to do what's best for Ridge and the children.

Brooke refuses to step aside.
Brooke can't believe Stephanie is asking her to step aside and refuses; she thinks Stephanie is just trying to scare her, and she's not going to give in to intimidation. If she feels scared, Stephanie tells Brooke, it's because she knows that Stephanie is telling the truth, and because she also knows that Thomas and the kids will resent her if she stays with Ridge. Brooke reminds Stephanie that she and Ridge share a son. And how would that son feel when he's older, Stephanie asks, and he realizes that his parents only stayed together because of him? She reminds Brooke that Ridge and Taylor are still legally married, and she believes they'll stay that way. In fact, she knows Ridge would never have even looked at her if Taylor was alive. Brooke tells Stephanie to butt out and let Ridge make up his own mind. "Like you did today?" Stephanie asks. Brooke offers Stephanie a deal; she'll go home right now if Stephanie will just agree to stop meddling. Stephanie however refuses. Brooke reminds her what will happen to RJ without a father, but even that does not change Stephanie's mind. Stephanie says that she's done with this: she promises Brooke that she will do whatever she has to to get rid the family of Brooke.
