Thomas and Gaby celebrate their "honeymoon."
Thomas brings Gaby home to the Forrester guest house. He frets that he didn't get to carry her over the threshold and asks if she's upset. She says she isn't. He's glad to hear that, since they shouldn't be starting married life with problems. He hopes she doesn't feel like he pressured her into this. If anything, she says, she's the one who put him in a position where he felt he had to do this. He reminds her that they made this life decision so she can go to college, like her mom wanted. That's why they're going to call Connor in the morning to get her green card in the works. As they sit down to eat some sandwiches, Gaby hopes that Mr. Davis will keep this confidential, as she doesn't want anyone in the family to know. Actually, Thomas admits, his Uncle Nick knows, since he saw them at the chapel. Gaby frets, but Thomas reminds her that "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas," and he's sure Nick will understand once he explains. Still, he wonders what Nick was doing in Vegas; were he and Bridget...? Gaby wonders how she'll ever face Nick, but Thomas tells her not to worry; after all, he hasn't let her down yet, has he?
Thomas comments on their "wedding feast" of sandwiches and soda: no rings, no frills, just like their wedding. Still, he thinks they should do something special for the wedding, even if nobody else knows. Gaby looks at the bed in the other room. Thomas follows her glance and looks there, too. They're both silent at first. Thomas then says that he should be leaving. He barely ate, she says. He says that he's not hungry. Then just stay and don't eat, Gaby says. Thomas says that the bed is interfering with their honeymoon; it's making her think that he means things that he doesn't. She says it's doing the same to her. They guess this is their first awkward moment as husband and wife, and they got through it. They then cuddle on the sofa and talk about their wedding vows. They weren't really lying, Thomas says, since he'll always care about her and want the best for her. She wants that for him, too. Then what's so awful? he asks. He always knows what to say, she says. Thomas says he knows a few people like that, but she says she only knows one and kisses him. Thomas pulls away; he says that Brooke has this stopwatch mentality after eleven, so he should leave. "Good night, wife," he says. "Good night, husband" she says as he leaves.

Hector checks on a friend.
Brooke is in her bedroom, wearing a satin robe, when she gets a call from Hector. She's glad to hear a friendly voice. Hector asks why, since she's not short of friends. She's not short of people who wish she would drown in the bathtub either, she quips. He says that he thought she might feel that way, since he saw the press conference on TV. He tells her not to let those reporters get to her, since they're just insects. She says she can't worry about insects when she has a "T-Rex" bearing down on her. And who would that be? he asks. She gives him three guesses.

Dante's is curious about Taylor's life.
Downstairs, by the door, Dante asks Taylor why she's not glad to see him. It's just that she told him not to come, she nervously replies. He hands her a manila envelope; she asks what it is, but he pushes past her into the room. He asks if her daughters are up; he already met Phoebe, but he'd like to meet Steffy. She's surprised that he met Phoebe. He wonders why Phoebe didn't tell her, since he usually makes a good first impression. He says that he couldn't leave L.A. without seeing her and asks if he can meet her husband. He's not there, she says, but Brooke is. Dante is surprised that the "other wife" is still here. Taylor maneuvers him outside and says that the situation with Brooke is complicated. He asks if he's complicating it more. He is, she says, even though she knows she wouldn't have a life without him and will always be grateful. Dante says that he only wants her to be happy, so he wonders what her husband is waiting for. She explains that Ridge remarried and had a child with Brooke, and what kind of a man would Ridge be if he just pretended that never happened? Dante tells Taylor that he would do it for her. She assures him that things are changing for her, maybe even tonight, which is why he can't stay. He says he understands and says good night. He leaves; Taylor goes inside, just as Brooke comes down and asks who was there.

Taylor and Brooke continue to disagree.
A startled Taylor jumps. Brooke sees the manila envelope and grabs it, assuming it's a delivery for her from Forrester. She says she told the messenger to just leave it at the door and rips it open, and Taylor's relieved to see that it is in fact the package Brooke was waiting for. Taylor starts to go upstairs, but Brooke says that she already checked on the kids. The girls are in bed, but Thomas is being a typical teen by pushing his curfew. Taylor admits that she said some harsh words earlier. And she meant them, Brooke says. Taylor says that she respects Brooke, as both an executive and a mother, but she just wants what's best for the kids. Brooke thinks they both want that. So can they start from there? Taylor asks. But how can they when they don't know who Ridge will put first? Brooke asks. She says that neither of them has a Plan "B" where Ridge is concerned. She wonders where Ridge is and wants to call him. Taylor asks if she's that desperate to know what's going on. Brooke thinks it's easy for Taylor to be calm when she has an 800 lb gorilla fighting her battles for her, like Stephanie is probably doing right now. She wonders what good that will do, since her secrets have been all over the tabloid headlines. Taylor, on the other hand, is a saint, so she has no secrets; Brooke guesses that makes them even in some weird way.
Taylor thinks they should go to bed. Brooke tells her to go ahead, but Taylor then decides to wait for Ridge. Brooke accuses Taylor of being the one who's now anxious to know what Stephanie said to Ridge. Taylor tells Brooke to stop acting like she's being conspired against, but Brooke points out that Taylor hasn't called Stephanie off. That's because she doesn't move people around like chess pieces, Taylor says. And besides, Stephanie is going to say what she wants anyway, but Ridge won't change his mind just because his mother is yelling the loudest. But if you have a rabid dog with its teeth in your leg, Brooke says, the person with the tranquilizer gun looks better and better. She thinks she and Taylor can be civilized to each other, but with Stephanie involved... She bets there wouldn't even be an argument now if Stephanie would just disappear.

Eric gets an urgent phone call about his wife.
At the beach house, Ridge gets some water and aspirin for Stephanie, who struggles with her pain. She always said Brooke would be the death of her, she says. Ridge tells her to wait here while he gets the car to take her to the hospital. Before long, they're on their way. Ridge calls Eric at Forrester and tells him that he thinks Stephanie had a heart attack, so he's taking her to University Hospital. He asks Eric to call ahead and meet them there. Stephanie says that she wants Dr. Maclaine; Ridge tells Eric, who agrees to call and meet them there. He asks if Stephanie seems alright. Ridge thinks they got lucky and she'll be OK. Eric asks Ridge to tell Stephanie that he'll meet them there and hangs up. Stephanie tells Ridge not to blame himself; they fought, but things happen, so this isn't his fault.

Ridge explains as Mark examines Stephanie.
Soon after, Eric, Thorne and Darla are waiting with Mark as Stephanie is wheeled in. Stephanie apologizes to Mark for dragging him out so late. Thorne asks what happened, but Eric tells him to let Mark do his job. While Mark examines Stephanie, Ridge explains that he and Stephanie were arguing, and then she clutched her arm and chest and even lost consciousness briefly. Mark orders some tests run and wants the results immediately. Ridge thanks him as Eric tries to reassure Stephanie, who has another pain. She reaches out to Ridge and tells him not worry. Ridge then stands with Eric and Thorne as Mark's team wheels Stephanie's gurney away for her tests.

Thorne and Darla watch from the window.
Soon after, Stephanie is in a room; since she can only have two visitors, Eric and Thorne stand by her bedside while Thorne and Darla watch from outside. Thorne and Darla wonder who in the family has been told. Darla suggests they get some coffee while they wait for the test results; Stephanie sees them through the window and blows them a kiss before they step away.

Stephanie pleads for Ridge to make the right choice.
Stephanie tells Eric and Ridge to go home, but neither of them is going anywhere. Stephanie frets that Taylor will worry, so Ridge says he will call her. Just don't call Brooke, she pleads. Ridge tells her to relax, as getting worked up about Brooke was what brought this on. He tells her that he has something to say to her; Eric motions for him to stop, but Ridge sits by the bed and tells Stephanie that he loves her. He guesses he takes it for granted and doesn't tell her that enough. She says that she loves him, too. Still, he says, she drives him nuts sometimes, but he wants her to know that he does listen to her, although it gets to be a bit much after the tenth or fifteenth time. But it's the truth, she says, and as his mother, she has to tell that to him. Eric tells her to stop, as they shouldn't be talking about Brooke. What should they be talking about? she asks. The monitor beeps; Stephanie says she is OK, but Ridge sees her rubbing her arm and says that she isn't. Getting upset, Stephanie says that Ridge has to listen to her this time. Eric wants to get the nurse, but Stephanie tells him to wait. She only wants to say this once. She looks to Ridge and tells him that he belongs with Taylor. If he stays with Brooke, she pleads, she doesn't want to be here. It will break her heart, she tells them, with a pained look on her face.
