Taylor tells Stephanie about her chat with Nick.
At the Forrester mansion, Stephanie asks Taylor about her conversation with Nick. He was interesting, Taylor says. Stephanie says she didn't leave them here to make small talk. Taylor doesn't think Nick knows how; he reminded her of Massimo in how straightforward he was. More importantly, she saw how important Brooke and her kids are to Nick, maybe even more than he'll admit, so she's sure Nick shouldn't marry Bridget now. Stephanie asks if Nick agreed to convince Brooke to step aside gracefully. He wouldn't even consider it, Taylor says, and he got very defensive when they talked about Brooke's kids. It was hard for him to step aside after finding out that RJ wasn't his son, Stephanie explains. Taylor bets it was even harder for him to walk away from Brooke. In her professional opinion, Nick is still in love with Brooke, which means Bridget will be hurt. Jackie tried to warn Bridget, Stephanie says. Taylor suggests having someone close to Bridget talk to her. Stephanie suggests Nick, but Taylor says that's not going to happen. Someone has to prepare Bridget before Ridge makes a decision, Stephanie says. And since Eric thinks that Nick and Bridget are going to elope, she's going to talk to Bridget herself before it's too late.

Massimo has a wedding gift and some advice for Bridget.
Bridget boards the Shady Marlin and finds Massimo leaving a note for Nick. He asks where Nick is; she tells him that he's meeting Taylor at Stephanie's. That's too bad, Mass says, since he has their wedding gift. Bridget asks if he can leave it, but he says it's not that kind of gift. She hopes it's not advice, since there's too much of that already. He takes that to mean that Stephanie's meddling. She just wishes everyone would butt out. She's sure Ridge wouldn't put up with all this.

Massimo says that he sent the Marone jet to bring Ridge home as soon as possible. She asks if Ridge said anything about his decision. That's between Ridge, Taylor and Brooke, Mass says, but he's sure Ridge will get back soon and tend to this business with his family. But which family? Bridget asks. She's thrilled to have Taylor back, but she can't stand to think about what this means to her mom and the kids. Including her, Mass points out, since Taylor's return interrupted her wedding to Dominick. She assures him that she is marrying his son once things cool down, but Mass doesn't think she should wait. He sees how happy she and his son are, so they shouldn't postpone their happiness - and that brings him to his wedding gift. He's had his yacht docked on the Island of Mystique, and as soon as Ridge returns, the Marone jet will fly her and Nick there for a wedding at sea! Bridget doesn't know what to say. Just say, "I do," he says. He thinks about the years he missed out on with Jacqueline and their son, so he doesn't want her and Nick to miss out on a moment, Bridget recalls that Nick always wanted to get married on a boat; maybe now, she can make his dream come true!

Stephanie comes aboard to "prepare" Bridget.
After Massimo leaves, Bridget puts on a wedding veil and a skimpy black lingerie outfit and waits for her hubby to be to arrive. When she hears the door, she calls out Nick's name, but she sees it's Stephanie instead. If she's here to talk about Brooke, Bridget says, save it. Stephanie sees the veil and asks if she's planning to elope. Bridget tells her about Massimo's gift and admits the idea is growing on her. Stephanie apologizes for the tension between them lately and asks Bridget to take a shopping trip to New York with her, to slow down and get some perspective before she and Nick make a big mistake. Bridget asks where she's going with this. Stephanie says that Nick still has a lot of unresolved feelings for Brooke. Bridget can't believe this: first Stephanie preys on her mom's insecurities, and now the Forrester matriarch expects her to go to her fiancee and accuse him of having feelings for her mom? Or maybe Stephanie expects her to go to her mom with this, to distract her from Ridge?

Bridget tells Stephanie where to go with her "concern."
Stephanie says she's concerned. The only thing she's concerned about, Bridget argues, is with getting Ridge back with Taylor. That's going to happen, Stephanie says, and once it does, Brooke's going to run right to Nick. She's here to make Bridget see that, to spare her the pain before that happens. Bridget can't believe that Stephanie is doing this, especially since Ridge isn't even back from New York yet to consider his decision. "It's your decision," Stephanie says. Bridget says she's made her decision, and so has Nick. Nick loves her. Stephanie knows Bridget wants to believe that, but she's sure Bridget will be hurt if she goes through with this wedding. That's why she's pleading with Bridget to listen to her now. Bridget says she's seen Stephanie do this to her mom time and again, but she won't let it happen to her. But Nick is still in love with Brooke, Stephanie pleads. Bridget snaps back, "Go to hell, Stephanie. Go to hell!"

Brooke tells Nick that she'll never come between him and Bridget.
At Ridge's house, Brooke can't believe that Stephanie and Taylor expect her to run back to Nick. Nick reminds her that she loves Ridge and he loves Bridget; that means anything they had is over, right? Of course, Brooke says, and she can't believe that Stephanie and Taylor are so sick to think that she would steal him from her own daughter. Nick tells her not to worry, because he knows that won't happen. And personally, he thinks Ridge is going to stay with her, so Stephanie, Taylor and even his mother don't know what they're talking about. His mother? Brooke asks. Nick reminds her that Jackie has always been crazy about her and still wants her as a daughter in law, but he told her that's not happening. Why would Jackie think there's a chance for them, Brooke asks, since she knows he's 100% committed to Bridget? Or is he? Nick assures her that he is. Even if something happens with her and Ridge? she asks. Nothing's going to happen, he says, so he doesn't want her to think about it. She says says she can't help it. But even if it happens, one thing she knows is that she will never come between him and her daughter.

Nick says he knows she'd never hurt Bridget. He wonders if he made the wrong choice coming here, especially since Stephanie and Taylor are just blowing smoke. They're trying to undermine his engagement, Brooke warns. But it's not going to work, Nick says. Brooke asks if Stephanie and Taylor lured him there to badger him into having feelings that aren't there. He doesn't think so; he thinks Stephanie thought he'd see why Ridge would choose Taylor once he met her. Then he'd come here to convince Brooke to walk away from a losing battle. And what does he think? Brooke asks. Does she have a chance against Taylor? Nick says his opinion about Taylor doesn't matter. This is between her, Ridge and Taylor. Brooke asks him to be honest with her. He says that she belongs with Ridge, and he told Taylor that, but Taylor, as a shrink, made a good case for herself and her children. So he was impressed with Taylor, Brooke says - and why wouldn't he be? And why wouldn't Ridge choose Taylor over her?

Nick offers some advice to Brooke.
Nick tells Brooke to stop sounding ridiculous. Even if Taylor is smart or good-looking, so is she. To him, this is no competition; he thinks Brooks should see how special she is, just like he sees her, rather than comparing herself to Taylor. But Taylor had a marriage, Brooke says, and a career and her kids... And so did she, he reminds her, pointing out how she successfully ran Forrester Creations while raising her kids. And she also helped raise TAYLOR'S kids, too. She's a special person, and he knows Ridge sees that, and he thinks RJ and Hope are lucky to have her as a mom. No matter what Stephanie says, he thinks St. Taylor has nothing over her. Brooke admits she's made mistakes. And no one is perfect, he says. He asks how she thinks Taylor would do in her shoes, with Stephanie up against her. If he was going to war, he says, he'd want someone like her by his side, someone who never gives up. Now he wants her to stop talking about throwing in the towel. Brooke hugs Nick and thanks him; she doesn't know what she'd do without him. She'll never have to find out, Nick says, because he'll always be there for her.
