Massimo tells Jackie what he found.
A disturbed Massimo drops by the penthouse; Jackie bids him good morning, but he gruffly tells her that this isn't a social call. She starts to ask why he's here, but he cuts her off and tells her that he looked into Mark Maclaine's bank account, just to put an end to her accusations about Stephanie. And did he see anything usual? she asks. Mass is silent, which Jackie takes to mean that he DID find something. Mass reluctantly tells her that there was a recent transfer of a million dollars, from a Swiss bank account to the good doctor's. Jackie says that she knew it: what else could that money be besides a bribe from Stephanie to enlist Mark's aid in her heart attack scam? Mass reminds her that doctors often receive large sums of money for patents or grants. From an unidentified account? Jackie asks. Mass agrees that it's highly suspect, but Jackie is sure that it's an illegal bribe from Stephanie! Mass says that he may not know Dr. Maclaine, but he knows that Stephanie has too much integrity to do something like this [which is ironic coming from the man who bribed a doctor and Brooke's father in a similar scam a few years ago]. He thinks Jackie is grasping at straws and urges her to let this go! He then leaves; once he's gone, Jackie says to herself that she can't let this go until Massimo sees Stephanie for who she really is.

Nick shows up at the Forrester mansion, looking for Bridget. Stephanie tells him that Bridget isn't here and asks if he's lost his fiancee. He says that Bridget didn't spend the night with him or at Brooke's, so he was hoping she was here. Stephanie asks if he called her cell. He says he did. She asks where he last saw Bridget; he recalls the note she left saying she was driving a "friend" home, and he realizes where she is. He tells Stephanie that he has to go and rushes off.

Stephanie has little tolerance for Jackie.
Soon after, Stephanie arrives at the penthouse at Jackie's invitation. Jackie compliments her, saying that she looks like a *million dollars*. An annoyed Stephanie replies that Jackie looks like a ten dollar tart who doesn't even have the right to invite her here, since this isn't even her home. Jackie points out that she's still married to Massimo. Not after she again reminds Mass how much better off he is without his ex-, Stephanie retorts. Jackie sarcastically quips that Stephanie would never ruin someone's marriage. Stephanie responds that Jackie must be thinking of her friend and partner in crime, Brooke. What an interesting choice of words, Jackie notes. What's interesting, Stephanie says, is that Brooke seemed like she was up to something when they saw each other last. She thinks that if Jackie wants to really be a friend to Brooke, she'd help Brooke accept that Ridge is with Taylor, where he belongs, and move on. That, Jackie says, is Stephanie's opinion. It's everyone's opinion but Jackie's, Stephanie says. She adds that Jackie and Brooke are both needy and selfish, which is why they're both alone, cut off from the families they claim to love. She warns Jackie to stay away from her home and family, since she has no tolerance for for sluts or parasites.

Jackie looks forward to teaching Stephanie a lesson.
Jackie asks if she's a slut or a parasite. A nit of both, Stephanie smugly replies. Just then, Jackie gets a call from Mark; Stephanie tries to listen in, but she can only hear Jackie's side. Jackie tells Mark that she's glad he called, since she was hoping to see them. Mark doesn't know if that's a good idea, but she asks him to just give her a few minutes. She ends the call. Stephanie asks Jackie if that was another "frequent flyer on her airline of love." Jackie laughs that this one is special. Stephanie tells Jackie that cavorting this way won't win Massimo back. Not everyone can be as noble as she is, Jackie tells Stephanie, nearly dying to save her family. Stephanie says that she, unlike Jackie, would do anything for her family, pointing out how Jackie has alienated Massimo and even used her own son. Jackie says that everything she's done has been for Nicky; maybe that's why she's alone in this big, empty penthouse, Stephanie quips. Jackie says she's not alone. Of course not, Stephanie says, since there's the hunk on his way over, as well as Jackie's buddy, Brooke. That sound very fulfilling. Jackie's had enough and tells Stephanie to leave; Stephanie's more than happy to comply and, as she exits, tells Jackie that "you reap what you sow." "Indeed you do," Jackie tells herself once Stephanie's gone.

Bridget tells Dante that she has to go.
At the Malibu beach house, Bridget is horrified to wake up and find herself lying in bed. She calls out to Nick, but it's Dante who's behind her, caressing her! Horrified, she sits up and asks what they did. Dante tells her to relax; he points out that she's still dressed and tells her that nothing happened - although he wonders if it would be so bad if they had? Relieved, Bridget puts on her sweater and says that she has to find Nick. Is that the same Nick who cuddled with her mother and Hope last night? he asks. He's sorry that she had to see that, but he thinks that proves that she needs a man who doesn't have a history with her mother. He says that she's confused and wants to help her, but she assures him that she's not confused. Not after last night, he says. He asks her to forget about all this here and come back with him to Rome. Putting her show on, she tells Dante that she doesn't need him playing white knight for her, because she loves Nick. He asks if she recalls what she saw last night. She does, she says. But now that she thinks about it, she wonders if she overreacted. Nick was reassuring Hope, and she thinks that ability to care is one of the things she loves about him. He tells her to stop making excuses for Nick, since she should be the only woman in Nick's life. To prove his point, he takes her engagement ring from her finger and tells her that she's done with that man.

Bridget tells Dante to stop, but he thinks it's time she gave up her mother's "left overs" and nibbled on him, instead. He again asks her to go to Rome with him, just as Nick arrives and tells Dante to get away from his fiancee. Ex-fiancee, Dante says, tossing Nick the engagement ring. Nick asks Bridget what she's doing here. She says she slept here. Dante jumps in and says that Nick has some nerve coming down on Bridget after what he did last night. Nick tells him to shut up and asks Bridget what's going on. She tells him how she saw him with Hope and her mom, including the look in his eyes when he looked at her mom. That's why she came here. This has to end, Nick says. He puts the ring back on and says that it's never coming off again. She asks if that means... It means they're getting married tonight, he says, like they should have done by now already. He knows how he feels, and he doesn't want to wait another moment to spend the rest of his life with her. He wants to take her dad up on his offer to get married at the mansion, since nothing - or no one, he adds, looking at Dante - is getting in their way. He kisses her and tells her that he wants to make her his wife, tonight. Dante doesn't look happy.

Nick tells Bridget that he wants to marry her.
Stephanie gets back to the mansion just in time to answer Nick's call. He reminds her of Eric's offer to get married there. That still stands, she says. Then how about pulling together a wedding tonight? Nick asks. Stephanie asks if he's sure. Is it too last minute? Nick asks. No, Stephanie says, but that's not the point. Before she can say more, Nick hangs up. Bridget asks him if he's sure about this. The question, Dante says, is if SHE is sure, especially since he finds Nick's motives to rush into a wedding to be obvious. He reminds her how young she is. Nick tells Dante that he's not invited and turns to Bridget. He tells her that he messed up last night, because he forgot that he pledged his life to her. The wedding is just to make it legal, he says, but in his mind and heart, she and he became one from the minute she accepted his proposal. He promises not to hurt her ever again and asks if they can do this. It sounds perfect, she says, tearfully. It will be perfect, he tells her, since he'll make sure of that. They kiss deeply as Dante looks on angrily.

Mark agrees to see Jackie later.
Mark arrives at Jackie's, bearing flowers. He says this is his way of apologizing, and of letting her know that they shouldn't see each other any more. But they were having a grand time, Jackie says, hoping her talk about Stephanie didn't drive him off. She doesn't want to lose his friendship. Mark admits that he enjoys her company. Then let her make it up to him, she pleads. He says that he likes Mexican food, so she suggests that he get some tacos and salsa for a private fiesta, while she provides the tequila. Mark admits that's hard to resist. She says that's what she likes to hear, so she'll see him tonight. When his pager goes off, she tells him to leave that little *contraption* at home tonight, as she doesn't want anything to disturb them..He smiles and leaves. Jackie pulls her robe closed and says, "OK, Stephanie, you enjoy your precious family -- while you still can."

While Stephanie picks up a photo of Ridge, Taylor and their kids and looks at it, we hear Jackie's voice say that she intends to exposes Stephanie for the lying hypocrite she *really* is. When she does, she gloats, Stephanie will be all alone.
