Jackie and Brooke ask Stephanie what's wrong.
In the Forrester mansion's foyer, Jackie asks Stephanie why she looks so pale. Stephanie quips that she thought Jackie was done with younger men. But this one, Jackie says, looking at Mark, is a handsome doctor who make her heart go pitter-pat. She asks if he does anything for Stephanie's. Stephanie reminds them that the ceremony is starting. Brooke starts to lead Jackie in; Stephanie says they can't be serious. Serious as a heart attack, Jackie replies. Stephanie asks Mark what's going on; Jackie notes how Stephanie called him by his first name, although that isn't surprising given what he did for Stephanie. And what did he do? Stephanie asks. That, Jackie says, is the million dollar question - one that Mark will answer in great detail. Stephanie takes them to the guest house and asks Mark what he told them. Everything, Jackie says; she points out that Mark is a decent man, so she didn't even need much tequila to get him to admit his lapse in judgement. She explains that she got suspicious when Mark moved into the ritzy Century View Towers. And then she found out about his million dollar windfall. From there, she just connected the dots to the point where a guilty Mark easily confessed to helping Stephanie fake a heart attack!

Eric thanks Massimo for his kind words.
Back at the mansion, Massimo wants to have his two cents after Stephanie's moving speech, on behalf of the groom. Nick worries that his pop is going to make a speech, but Bridget thinks it's only fair. Massimo tells his son not to worry, as he only wants to say a few words from the heart about the happy couple. He gathers everyone around and says that, in honor of Dominick and Bridget, he'd like to pay tribute to another couple, one whose marriage has faced the test of time through good and bad: their hosts tonight, Eric and Stephanie. Everyone claps. Eric thanks Mass for the kind words. Mass says that he knows a good marriage when he sees one. Eric turns to the crowd and says that Massimo is right: his marriage HAS weathered many tough times, and he credits that to Stephanie and her support. He can't think of anyone who has sacrificed so much for her family, and when he thinks about her recent health problems, he doesn't know what he would have done had they lost her.

Mark tells Stephanie that it's too late to cover what they did.
Stephanie tells Jackie not to be so proud of herself. After all, Mark was drinking when he "confessed," so she's confident that he can set the record straight by telling them that she really had a heart attack. Mark says it's too late. She asks who will believe Jackie and Brooke over her and him; all he has to do is say that she was sick and he treated her. Jackie says she already knows everything. Stephanie tells her to shut up, but Jackie says she has it on tape. Stephanie thinks she's bluffing, but Jackie takes out the recorder and prepares to play it. Stephanie goes silent; Brooke asks why she has suddenly has nothing to say - not that it matters, as she'd like to hear it from Mark. She asks the doctor to tell her that the heart attack was a fake. It was a manipulation by Stephanie to rid her family forever of Brooke Logan, Stephanie's worst nightmare, the bane of her existence, the woman that she's been trying to intimidate for years. The woman that Stephanie blames for everything that went wrong in her family, for corrupting her husband and her sons. She recalls how Stephanie used videotapes, letters and anything she could find, just to brand her as an opportunist, the little slut from the valley who slept her way through Beverly Hills. But that was never true, and this time, Stephanie went too far. Ridge, Eric, Thorne and even sweet little Taylor will never forgive Stephanie now, she predicts: she's finished. Her reign of terror is over!
Stephanie silently stares at Brooke and walks over toward Mark. Glaring at him, she slaps him hard in the face and calls him a schmuck!

Dante turns on the charm.
Back at the mansion, Eric looks for Stephanie. Dante says she was by the door. Eric is sure she'll be right back. Nick hopes so, since he's ready to start without her. Bridget tells the minister that it will be a few more minutes. Dante walks over to Massimo, who's with Sally. Mass introduces the young artist to La Spectra, who's charmed by the Italian hottie. Across the room, Ridge notices and points it out to Taylor, who says Dante is quite a charmer. They agree that they should have Dante over while he's in town, so Ridge can get to know him better.

In the living room, Nick tells Bridget that he's worried about how long Stephanie has been gone. Bridget sees that her mom is missing, too and wonders if there's a problem. why would she think her mother and Stephanie being together on her wedding day is a problem? he sarcastically asks. He bets they're in the garden reminiscing. Bridget looks at him and bites her lip.

Gaby tells Thomas that she doesn't want his dad to hate her.
Thomas finds Gaby on the terrace and says that she's the prettiest girl here tonight. Don't tell that to the bride, she says - or to Caitlin, who isn't over him. He asks how she knows. She says that Caitlin looks at him the same way she does. But she's his wife, he reminds her. But Caitlin doesn't know that, she points out, and never will if his dad has his way. He tells her not to worry about his dad, but she can't help it when Ridge is always looking at her. Is that why she came out here? he asks. She doesn't want Ridge to hate her. Thomas says that his dad doesn't hate her. But Ridge hates her ruining his [Thomas's] life, she says. Thomas says she hasn't ruined anything; even if their wedding was impulsive or tacky, he has no regrets. Neither does she, she says, with a tear running down her cheek. They kiss.

Stephanie worries that she's caught.
Back at the guest house, Brooke pushes past Mark and slaps Stephanie, saying that's for lying about her heart attack. As Jackie directs Mark to leave through the back, a stunned Stephanie slaps Brooke back and calls her a bitch! Stephanie turns to leave and Brooke stops her, since she hasn't even started giving Stephanie what she deserves. They struggle over the cane; Brooke says that Stephanie's days of bullying her are over. Stephanie disagrees and waves the cane at Brooke, and she misses, shattering a lamp. Brooke tumbles back; Jackie catches her and says, "Round 2." Brooke warns Stephanie to be careful or she may have another heart attack. She takes the cane and thanks God, because now, after all the pain and abuse, the family will see Stephanie as she does. She then thanks Jackie and hugs her. Stephanie looks worried as she sees Jackie accept the embrace and smile.
Nick tells Bridget that they'll have to move forward if her mom and Stephanie don't turn up in the next three minutes. Dante tells Bridget she can still change her mind. Nick tells him to go press some grapes, since Bridget isn't changing her mind. Bridget steps between them; Nick goes to find them and warns Dante to leave Bridget alone while he's gone.
Jackie says this has been cathartic, but they should go back to the wedding, so that she and Brooke can tell the others what Stephanie did. Stephanie says she'll do it. OK, Jackie concedes, but she threatens to play the tape if Stephanie lies. Stephanie again says she'll tell them. Nick comes in and is surprised to see the broken lamp; he says he doesn't want to know. All he knows is that he's getting married, and they can join him in the main house if they want to be a part of it.

Thorne and Darla worry about Brooke and Stephanie.
Back at the mansion, Thorne and Ridge worry about their mom and Brooke both being missing. Taylor suggests that they go look for the women, but then Nick comes in and tells Reverend Daniels that they're ready to start. Bridget asks about her mom; hopefully she's on her way, Nick says. Brooke and Jackie come in; as Jackie sits next to a surprised Massimo, Brooke apologizes to Bridget, who asks if she's OK. Better than she's been in a long time, Brooke replies. Stephanie walks in and pauses by the door; everyone sees her, and Ridge leads her into the room. Bridget sees that Stephanie is trembling and asks if it's her heart. No, Stephanie says. Bridget refuses to start until she knows what's going on. Brooke tells Stephanie to go ahead and speak now, telling the guests that Stephanie has something to tell them. Stephanie looks around and says she doesn't know where to begin. Just speak from the heart, Brooke tells her, as both she and Jackie smile.
