Sally drops by to help Stephanie celebrate.
At the hospital, Mark checks on Stephanie, who no longer has the ventilator hooked up. He's pleased with how well she's recovering; she says she has him to thank for that. Just then, an orderly wheels Sally in the door, so Mark leaves them alone. Sally tells "her highness" that she heard about the bedside wedding from Thorne, so she's here to congratulate Stephanie on finally getting Brooke Logan out of her life! In fact, she's brought champagne to toast Stephanie's good fortune. Stephanie doesn't think the doctor would approve of champagne after a heart attack, but Sally convinces her to have just enough to wet her whistle. Sally pours the champagne, and they clink their glasses together in a toast to the end of an era. Sally bets that Stephanie is glad that Ridge finally listened to his mother. Stephanie agrees that it's good to finally be free of Brooke, who drove her to the edge and put her in here. She's glad that it's Brooke's turn now to have her heart broken. The two women clink their glasses together once more, just as Eric arrives and looks on from the doorway in disgust!

Eric is upset by Sally's and Stephanie's attitudes.
Sally sees Eric and says that she and Stephanie were just toasting to Stephanie's recovery. Eric knows that they weren't, as he heard them celebrating Brooke's misfortune. Isn't that the same thing? Sally asks. Eric says it's not a joke, especially since his wife's vendetta against Brooke caused this heart attack and nearly killed her! Sally says that sounds like her cue to leave. Eric agrees, as he wants to talk to his wife alone.

Stephanie is glad that Ridge saw the "real" Brooke.
Stephanie tells Eric that he should know how Sally is, but he can't believe that she's blaming Sally. He knows Sally didn't put those words in her mouth, and he heard what she said. That would be a first, Stephanie quips. She reminds him of all the times she warned everyone about how bad Brooke was for this family. She's glad that Ridge finally saw Brooke for what she is and chose Taylor. What Ridge saw, Eric points out, is his mother hospitalized after a heart attack, begging him to do what she wanted. He can't believe she used her condition to manipulate her son - and on top of that, now she's laughing about it! He can't understand that, since Brooke is feeling more pain right now than she's ever felt before. Stephanie just looks at him.
Brooke comes down at her old house and finds Nick putting together some toys. He asks if it's a bit much. The kids will love it, she says. Nick thinks it will help make the transition a little easier for the kids. Brooke says that she's going over to get them. If she goes there, Nick tells her, she has to hold her head up and be strong, even if it seems hard. She says she knows that: she'll just have to go over there, get her things and get out, as it's not her home anymore. Ridge and Taylor exchanged their vows, she points out, and they live in that house now.

Jackie gives Nick her opinion of Stephanie's heart attack.
After Brooke leaves, Nick looks at a photo of Hope and Brooke and resumes work on a doll house. The doorbell rings; he answers and finds Jackie there, surprised to see him there so early. He says that he slept on the couch. Did he now? she asks. He tells her not to start, as Brooke is already dealing with one crazy mother. Jackie says that she just wanted to see if Brooke is OK and asks where Brooke is. She went to get her kids, Nick says. Jackie asks if he was expecting someone else given the way he answered the door: he tells her that he was looking for the cops, since Stephanie is claiming that Brooke tried to kill her! He can't believe that Stephanie hasn't called the police to tell them how Brooke accused her of faking the heart attack and disconnected her ventilator. Jackie admits that she wondered if Stephanie was faking, too, as a way to get Ridge and Taylor together - and if she did, it was a brilliant move on her part. Nick asks if she knows anything; she tells him that she saw Stephanie and suggested that she was faking, but Stephanie denied it. More importantly, she doesn't think Nick should get wrapped up in this: even if Stephanie did manipulate them, the fact is that Ridge and Taylor are back together again - which means that Nick should be focusing on Brooke and her kids, because they need him.
Nick tells his mother that things aren't as easy as she's making them out to be. Jackie says that she sympathizes with Brooke, which is why she thinks the best thing Brooke can do is put her disappointment behind her. But Brooke is devastated, Nick says, and the kids will be, too. Jackie is surprised, since he's saying that the kids don't know. Not yet, he says, angry that those kids finally had a stable family, only to lose it. Jackie tells him that he could do that for them, which is why she hopes he postponed his wedding. Nick is silent; Jackie reminds him that Ridge turned his back on that family, which is why she hopes her son won't do the same. Nick can't believe that they're having this conversation again. His main focus, he tells his mom, is making this house feel like home for those kids, especially Hope, since they'll be here any time now. That's why he's warning Jackie to take her warnings and predictions and keep them to herself. He loves her, but he won't have her interfere.
At Ridge's house, Taylor lies beside Ridge in their bed, sleeping, while he stares up at the ceiling. She wakes up and they bid each other "good morning." Taylor snuggles closer to him and marvels at how amazing it is to be waking up next to him, in their own bed. She asks him to tell her that she's not dreaming. Yes, he tells her, they're married. They talk about how happy they are to be starting the day this way and start kissing.

Bridget waits with RJ for their mother.
Downstairs, Brooke arrives. As she walks in the house and looks around, Bridget sees her and hugs her, as tears run down Brooke's cheeks.
Hope thinks she's going on a trip.
Brooke asks Hope if she's packed; Bridget tells her that Hope thinks they're going on vacation. Brooke bends down and tells Hope that they're moving. They're going back to their old house, since there isn't enough room since Taylor came back, and Uncle Nick will be there waiting for her. Are they visiting Uncle Nick? Hope asks, joyfully. Brooke says that he's visiting them, since the two of them will be living there, along with RJ... "And me," Bridget adds. But they live here, Hope says. Not anymore, Brooke says, assuring Hope that she'll still get to visit her brothers and sisters. Hope asks if Daddy is coming. Daddy's staying here, Bridget explains, but that doesn't mean he doesn't love her. She tells Hope that she and RJ will stay with Daddy sometimes, since they'll have two homes. Bridget turns to Brooke for support. Brooke tells Hope that it'll be fine. She then asks Bridget to help Hope pack some toys while she goes to get some things from upstairs. Bridget takes Hope to look for some toys as Brooke stands there, looking lost.

A gift from Ridge sparks Brooke's memories.
Brooke goes up and sees the door of her former bedroom open. She slowly enters and is hurt to see the bed unmade, with Taylor's negligee sitting on it. She picks up the negligee and thinks about what it means. She then walks over to the dresser, where she finds a jewelry box. She opens it and finds the necklace that Ridge gave her with the inscription, "More than yesterday, not as much as tomorrow." She flashes back to when Ridge gave that to her, and the memories make her sad.

Ridge and Taylor find Brooke packing.
Ridge and Taylor come in and find Brooke packing her things. Ridge is silent as Taylor tells Brooke that she should have told them she was there. Why? Brooke asks. So they could help her pack? Taylor says that she didn't expect Brooke to move out immediately. Brooke thinks she should, but Taylor thinks they should slow down, to give the kids time to adjust, and maybe to get them some counseling. After all, she adds, communication is important at a time like this. Like the communication about their impromptu wedding? Brooke asks. She got that one loud and clear. Ridge puts his hands on Brooke's shoulder and calls her "Logan." She tells him not to touch her or call her that. After all the time they spent loving each other, she can't believe it's ending this way. Crying, she tells him that she promised herself that she wouldn't do this, and that she'd just accept his decision - but she can't, because he didn't decide anything! His mother did! Taylor says that Ridge made up his own mind, but Brooke just can't see that! Ridge says that he knows this isn't fair to her. Brooke is stunned that he can' even see that his mother is controlling him, just like she has all his life. All he wanted was to save his mother, so he wasn't thinking about her, RJ, Hope or even Taylor. She thought he was a strong person, but she sees now that he isn't, because he let his mother make up his mind for him!
Ridge is silent as he stands there, looking at Brooke and considering what she's said.
