Nick slips in to see Bridget before the wedding. She tells him that it's bad luck for him to be there. Nick isn't worried, since he's not superstitious - unless she has any more dead relatives who might show up? She tells him not to worry, because Stephanie won't let anyone spoil their day.

Sally's a guest at the wedding.

Stephanie, meanwhile, is entertaining guests with Eric, including Sally. Sally feels honored to be here, although she thinks she does belong here since Thorne AND Thomas work for her. Eric asks her not to talk business tonight. Stephanie then excuses herself to greet Ridge, Taylor and their kids. Taylor reminds Stephanie that she was at Nick and Bridget's last wedding, too. But this time, Stephanie says, she's where she belongs, not hiding in the bushes. Brooke walks in; Ridge, Taylor and Stephanie all look at her. Stephanie sends Ridge, Taylor and their clan inside and goes over to ask Brooke why she's still here. Brooke says that this is her daughter's wedding, and while Stephanie might think she can control everyone, she's about to learn that she's wrong. Brooke steps in and Nick is glad to see her. At least someone is, Brooke says, looking around. He and Bridget are both glad she's here, Nick tells her. Nick then sees Massimo enter with Dante, so he excuses himself to ask his pop why the weasel is here. Mass says he invited Dante, who's good friends with Bridget and should get to meet her family. Mass then asks where Jackie is.

And in Penthouse 3, Jackie is using tequila and margaritas to loosen Mark up when she gets a call. She excuses herself and answers the phone. It's Brooke, who says things are OK at the mansion, although Stephanie gave her a head time. She asks Jackie if she's made progress with Mark. Jackie says she's working on it and hangs up, just in time for Mark to come in and ask what's wrong. Her son is getting married tonight, Jackie explains, sobbing, but it's at Stephanie's house, where she's not welcome. Mark can't believe that and asks why Massimo hasn't put a stop to that. Jackie sobs that Massimo can't stop Stephanie. Then Mass doesn't deserve her, Mark says - and he kisses her! Jackie thinks he's drunk, but he thinks he is high on her beauty. Since she first invited him to dinner, he says, he's felt the connection between them. Jackie tells him not to get ahead of himself. Yes, she is interested in him, but not in the way he thinks. What interests her, she says, is how 1 million dollars got into his bank account!

Stephanie tells Eric why she doesn't want Jackie here.

Back at the mansion, Nick looks at Taylor with Dante, and Thomas hugs Gaby while glancing at a lonely Caitlin across the room. Brooke watches Ridge join Taylor, while Stephanie watches Brooke. Stephanie takes a moment, while they wait for the bride, to thank everyone for coming tonight, as they celebrate her family. Her son, Ridge is here, having been reunited with the love of his life, Taylor - she looks at Brooke as she says that and grins - and now they're about to welcome Nick to the family, too. She looks forward to a fresh start for him and Bridget and a healthy future for this family, especially after all they've been through recently. Everyone applauds. Meanwhile, Brooke mutters under her breath that Stephanie should watch out, since the future may not be as happy as she thinks. Stephanie tells Eric that it's time to begin, but Eric sees that Jackie's not here. She wasn't invited, Stephanie says, since only people who support this family and have its interests at heart are welcome here.

Taylor tries to be understanding toward Brooke.

Brooke walks in to find Taylor sitting on a sofa, alone. Taylor says hello; Brooke bets Taylor is surprised to see her and tells Taylor how her "friend" Stephanie left the bride's mom off the guest list. Taylor hopes Brooke knows she doesn't encourage that kind of behavior. But she benefits from it, Brooke retorts. Taylor sees that Brooke's upset. Not as upset as Taylor will be when she finds out what her "friend" did to get her back with Ridge, Brooke predicts before walking away. Stephanie comes in from the balcony and approaches Taylor, asking what that was about. Taylor has no idea and wonders if Stephanie does.

Ridge asks Brooke what she's trying to say.

Ridge asks Eric if he's seen Thomas; when Eric says no, Ridge says that his son is avoiding him and is probably socializing with his new boss, Sally. After Eric walks away, Brooke comes over, He asks if she brought the kids. She says she didn't want them to feel as uncomfortable as she does. He says that they're still a part of this family, and he misses them. They miss him too, she replies. He asks if he can see them; maybe next week, she says. He's surprised she doesn't mind. She says she was wrong to blame all this on him when he was a victim, too. He asks what she means, but she says she'll wait until she has ironclad proof - which she thinks she will before tonight ends. Stephanie sees them talking and goes over to Taylor; she warns Taylor that Brooke is up to something and tells her to put a stop to that chat, but Taylor is confident in Ridge's commitment to her. Stephanie relents and agrees to worry about the wedding for now, and she goes to get things started, leaving a thoughtful Taylor behind.

Jacqueline tells Mark what she's pieced together.

At Penthouse 3, Mark tells Jackie that he doesn't know what she's talking about, but she tells him that she knows he was paid a million dollars from a Swiss account! Mark is furious that she looked into his accounts and invaded his privacy. What she looked into, Jackie says, is his involvement with Stephanie, who paid him that money! Mark continues to play dumb. Jackie tells him to go ahead: if he clams up, she'll just keep digging until she chips away and finds the truth. But if he comes clean, she points out, she can try to protect him and his reputation, rather than see Stephanie ruin him like she ruined Brooke, and now her. She begs him to help her stop Stephanie!

Back at the mansion, Stephanie goes into the study and dials Mark's number.

When Mark's phone rings, Jackie guesses that it's Stephanie and urges Mark not to answer it. The call goes to voice mail. Back at the mansion, Stephanie leaves a message: she doesn't know why Mark's not answering, but she wants to remind him again not to say anything. At the penthouse, Jackie asks the greedy doctor to come clean. It wasn't like that, Mark insists. He explains that something was wrong with Stephanie when she came to the hospital; it might have been a palpitation or angina. The things happened so fast. The hospital depends on Stephanie's donations, so he didn't see how he could say no. He didn't think anyone would be hurt. And he didn't ask for the money: it just showed up in his account. To keep him quiet, Jackie surmises. Stephanie said she was grateful for saving her family, Mark says. And in doing so, Jackie says, he destroyed Brooke's. Mark says that he didn't know Stephanie would use her condition to manipulate Ridge. But that's she did, Jackie says. She asks him to say it: Stephanie staged a heart attack, and he helped her. Yes, Mark admits. Jackie tells him to say it all: he then adds that Stephanie paid him a million dollars to help her fake a heart attack. When he finishes, Jackie grins and pulls her recorder out from a vase of flowers and declares "We got her!"

Nick and Bridget are about to get married.

At the mansion, Nick asks Thomas for advice, one groom to another. Thomas isn't in the mood for a lecture, since his dad already busted them. Just then, everyone's attention turns to Bridget entering the room. Stephanie suggests that they sit down and get started. Bridget points out that Jackie's not here. Brooke tells her that Jackie had a very important Doctor's appointment tonight and looks at Stephanie. Brooke then wishes Nick and Bridget luck and finds a place in the back, near Hector. Nick asks Bridget if her mom is OK; Bridget guesses Brooke is trying to make the best of a very bad situation. Nick teases about how that sounds to describe their wedding, but when she reminds him what her mom is going through, he says he was just kidding.They kiss and Dante, with Caitlin on his arm, glares from across the room.
