Dante is pleased to see a familiar face.
Felicia is at Insomnia, speaking with her doctor's office. The doctor wants her to stay in the hospital overnight, so she says she'll be there. As she hangs up and adds sweetener to her coffee, she sees Dante sitting across the room. Smiling, the Italian artist approaches her and, calling her "Lisa," asks if she remembers him. She corrects the name and says she remembers him, but can't place from where. Dante says they met last year in Cannes, but Felicia then realizes that it was in a bar in Nice. She was dancing on a bar and he came to her rescue and walked her home. Calling him "Alessandro," she asks what brings him to L.A. This time, Dante corrects his name and tells her that he came looking for gallery showings of his work. So he's an artist, she says, saying she pegged him as a dancer. No, he laughs, he's not. In pursuing his art, he explains. he found work as a fabric designer at Forrester Creations. Felicia says that she knows the company well, since she's Eric Forrester's daughter and Ridge's baby sister. Actually, she corrects herself, she's not really the baby of the family, since she has a younger half sister. What a small world it is, they agree. Dante asks if she's still single, or did she patch things up with that guy she told him about in Nice? She said things were ending with that guy, he recalls. They were, she says, and that was for the best. Dante says that's what he always says.

Stephanie tells Eric that she's on to him.
At the mansion, Stephanie tells Eric how long she's waited for him to admit how much Brooke has hurt their family. Eric guesses he must be a slow learner. Stephanie asks what Brooke has done to change his mind, other than not sleep with him during their short marriage. Eric explains that he's been trying to accept Stephanie's new design concept, but Brooke has been fighting him on that all the way. Which means Brooke hasn't really changed at all, Stephanie muses, and neither has she. And since she hasn't suddenly gone stupid, she adds, she can see what Eric's up to; she can't believe he expected her to just take him back and offer him back the company over a few words that he thinks she wants to hear. Thorne or Taylor might buy this act, she says, but she's not. Eric tells her that she needs him, because he can help her achieve her lifelong dream of ridding their family of Brooke, Stephanie admits that she does need him - and in fact, if he ever realized what she REALLY needs, she's sign his precious company over to him in an instant and call it a bargain. Eric tells Stephanie to stop playing games and tell him what she needs. Does she want him to be more attentive? Yes, she admits, but not to her. She doesn't want him wanting her like he wants Brooke. She may have settled for that once, but what she really needs is for him to catch up to her and be a father to their kids.

Eric is stunned when Stephanie tells him what she needs.
Over the years, Stephanie tells Eric, their children would dote on him, waiting for his attention, but when was her there for them like she was, to pick them up when they fell? Eric points out that being a mother to those children is what turned her into the woman she is, but their kids grew up fine despite that. Did that really? she asks. Does he really think he can call himself a parent just because his kids can walk and feed themselves? Eric asks her to sit and kneels in front of her. He senses something wrong and asks her what it is. She says she made a promise and can't say, but she wants him to think about this. He asks if Thorne and Darla are in trouble. Or is Thorne overwhelmed by trying to run the company her way? Seeing he's still clueless, Stephanie reminds him of a party he threw for Nick and Bridget - a party he invited Felicia to. Felicia left the party early, she reminds him. Eric says that was because Felicia felt awkward around ex-beau Nick, who's now married to Bridget. She asks if Felicia said that to him. He didn't ask, Eric admits, since he thought Felicia would tell him if something important was going on. Unlike her, he doesn't hound their kids, especially the typically private Felicia. She reminds him how Felicia hid her cancer from them. But this time, Eric says, she just left a party early. It's not like she's dying. Stephanie looks at him and nods, leading Eric to a painful realization.

Nick explains about Felicia and the baby to a tearful Bridget.
At the beach house, Bridget asks Nick if he's saying he has a child with Felicia. He says he's sorry, but it's true. Bridget asks Nick where the baby is; Felicia brought the 4 month old baby with her, he explains. Bridget is furious that she always has to share him with someone. They were starting THEIR family, and now she has to share that, too? She goes outside. Nick follows her and sits down beside her. He tells her that this doesn't change anything between them. He still plans to give her everything she wants in life. Even he can't give her that, she sobs, asking how unlikely it is for a chemo patient like Felicia to have a child. She asks if the baby's healthy. He is, Nick says. So he's seen the baby, she guesses, asking his name. When he tells her that the baby's name is Dominick, Bridget thinks that tells them what was on Felicia's mind about the baby - and about Nick. Nick says that Felicia didn't know about his marriage until she got to town. Once she found out, she was determined not to interfere, because she saw how much he loved his wife. And he found all this out yesterday? she asks. He tells her that Stephanie thought he had a right to know about his son and told him about his son. She asks what Felicia expects. What's important, he says, is what he expects, and that's to be part of his son's life. He asks Bridget to tell him now if she's not OK with that. Bridget doesn't answer; instead, she tells him that they need to get some answers from Felicia, so they head for the Forrester guest house.

Felicia tries to explain.
Felicia is at the guest house, packing, when there's a knock at her door. She calls out to her mother that she's busy, but the door opens and it's Nick and Bridget. Bridget sees Felicia packing and asks if she's going somewhere. She would think Nick would have a right to know that Felicia was taking his son somewhere, Bridget accuses. Felicia guesses that Nick has spoken to Bridget. The problem. Bridget says, is that Felicia didn't talk to anyone, but that ends now! Nick tells Felicia that the news is still fresh for Bridget, who hushes him and asks Felicia if she knew she was pregnant when she left L.A. Felicia says she didn't. In fact, she didn't even think she could get pregnant, since the doctors told her that the chemo would leave her infertile. Then she missed a period when she was in Paris and went to see a doctor, and that's when she found out. Bridget asks Felicia how she could keep this from the family, or from Nick. Felicia says that unlike Bridget, she wasn't healthy while pregnant, and she didn't know if her child was, either. What about after the baby was born? Bridget asks. Felicia says that Nick was good to her, but they weren't in love, so she didn't want him obligated to her because of a child. Just then, the baby starts to cry, so Felicia asks Nick to get him a bottle. As Nick goes to get it, Felicia goes to get the baby. Bridget follows, and her face softens as Felicia introduces Dominick to her Aunt Bridget. Nick brings the bottle in; Felicia looks from Bridget to Nick to the baby and smiles.
