Nick and Bridget worry about Felicia's sudden exit.
In the basement office at Forrester, everyone is stunned at Felicia's sudden flight from the room. Thorne wants to go after her, but Eric suggests that Ridge is probably better suited to catch her with the way Felicia drives. Bridget thinks she knows what happened; she thinks all the talk about her and Nick and their unborn child was too much for Felicia. Thorne agrees, reminding Nick that he was "involved" with Felicia once. Nick isn't sure he'd use that word, but Jackie points out that Felicia was fond of him. They just had some laughs, Nick states. Eric blames himself for inviting Felicia, even though Thorne and Darla remind him that it's been a year since Felicia and Nick broke up. Nick offers to go find Felicia, but Eric reminds him that Felicia is "in his past" and again recommends letting Ridge find Felicia.

Felicia explains about her son to her mother.
Little do they know that Felicia hasn't even left the building; she's upstairs in the CEO's office with Stephanie after the attack of pain she felt. Stephanie asks Felicia why she didn't say anything about the baby. Felicia is angry that her mother broke her word by going to the guest house. Stephanie apologizes for that, and for making Renee uncomfortable, but it's obvious to her that Felicia and Renee both care about that baby boy. She knows Felicia can't be the birth mother because of her cancer, but whether Renee is the birth mother or if the baby's adopted, Stephanie promises to support them and their decision to raise this baby together. Either way, this is Stephanie's grandson, and she promises to love him as much as her other grandchildren. The thought of her little girl having a baby of her own makes Stephanie cry tears of joy. Felicia decides to go along with the lesbian ruse until Stephanie decides to ask Megan to gather the family together to meet the latest addition to their clan. Felicia says that she made a mistake dragging her son all the way here, because she has to protect him. Protect him from what? Stephanie asks. She wonders if the baby isn't legally Felicia's. It is, Felicia confesses: this is HER son. She gave birth to him, despite the chemo. It was a miracle. Hearing that, Stephanie gets even more emotional at the thought of her daughter being a mother. She asks what the baby's name is. It's Dominick, Felicia states.

Thorne and Taylor are stunned by Eric's words.
Taylor comes into the basement as Brooke cleans up, commenting on all the noise and fumes down here. It's like a bus depot, she states. A bus depot would be an improvement, Eric states. Thorne says that Eric would be upstairs if it was up to him. Eric says he knows that, which is why he thinks he owes both Thorne and Taylor an apology. He knows that they are caught in the middle of his marital issues with Stephanie, since they've chosen to side with his ex-wife and her plan to market clothes for the "intelligent woman." It's a viable market, Taylor states. Eric agrees, but he thinks that's beside the point. He's looked at his recent actions and has had a revelation that he really has let Stephanie down. He was her husband, and there will always be a part of him that loves her, so he has to admit that he pushed her over the edge and hurt her. Thorne and Taylor are stunned. Brooke can't believe Eric is saying these things about the woman who stole his company away. Eric tells Brooke that remarrying her had to be a slap in Stephanie's face, taking away all Stephanie's dignity. He sees now that Stephanie always wanted what was best for the family, so he hopes he can make it up to her. Brooke asks to speak to Eric alone, but Eric says they can speak freely in front of Thorne and Taylor. Thorne and Taylor both indicate that they have work to do and leave Eric and Brooke alone.

Eric clues Brooke in on his plan.
Brooke can't believe what Eric has just said. Don't believe everything you hear, he tells her. She asks if the diesel fumes are getting to him. If it's up to him, he says, those fumes will be a thing of the past. A confused Brooke asks what he's talking about. Eric explains that he had to catch her off guard, and he had to convince Thorne and Taylor that he was seriously mad at her, since it's the only way to convince Stephanie. Convince her of what? Brooke asks. Eric explains that Jackie reminded him recently that Stephanie will always be vulnerable to him. Once he realized that, he saw that there was no one who could push Stephanie's buttons the way he can. And the one thing Stephanie wants more than anything, he continues, is to have Brooke out of her life. It will take years to get the company back through the courts, he explains, and by the time he does, there might not even be a company to save. But if he can get back in Stephanie's good graces by convincing her that he sees Brooke the same way she does, then he can have the company back now! Brooke considers the implications of having the company back. But then she tearfully flashes back to the night on the Shady Marlin where she and Nick admitted their feelings for each other, and she asks herself what having the company back means if she can't have Nick.

Jackie and Bridget consider why Felicia might have run off.
Jackie, Nick and Bridget go into another office and discuss Felicia's weird departure. Jackie thinks that Felicia cared for her son more than even he realized. Bridget asks if he heard from Felicia while she was away. He says he emailed her, but she never replied, although he doesn't think that's odd for her. Obviously, Bridget says, he had more of an effect on her than he knew. Nick wants to go talk with Felicia but Bridget thinks she should be the one to do it, woman to woman. And they are sisters, Jackie points out. Nick points out how Felicia reacted earlier. Bridget says that was because Felicia still thinks of her as little Bridget, and not Nick's wife and the mother of his child. She's sure that returning home to that reality couldn't be easy for Felicia. Nick tells her that he doesn't want her feeling threatened. Bridget assures him that she knows she has no reason to feel threatened. She's sure that Felicia will be happy for them once they talk. Once Bridget is gone, Jackie asks Nick if they're missing something. She asks Nick if he's sure things were over between him and Felicia when she left. He says that he's sure. There has to be something going on, Jackie guesses. If there is, Nick says, Bridget's about to find out.

Stephanie has questions for her youngest daughter.
Stephanie doesn't understand why Felicia kept the baby a secret. Felecia admits that she had deeper feelings for Nick than he had for her. Stephanie realizes that Felicia still loves Nick and asks if that had anything to do with her decision to come back to L.A. It doesn't matter, Felicia says, since Nick is married to Bridget and they are expecting a child. She refuses to tell Nick about the baby and plans to go back to France. Stephanie says that she'll need help with the baby. Renee is a wonderful nanny, Felicia says. Stephanie asks if the baby deserves a chance to know his family. Then come to France to visit, Felicia says. She refuses to interfere in Nick and Bridget's family by telling Nick that he has a son. Just then, Bridget comes in; Felicia says she was just leaving, but Bridget tells her to wait. She knows something is going on, but she's sure it's nothing they can't handle. She asks if Felicia has any issues with cancer; when Felicia assures Bridget that she's cancer free, Bridget realizes that it has to be about Nick. She guesses that it was a shock for Felicia to find out that Nick is married to her and that they are expecting a child, so she has to apologize for being so insensitive. She understands that Felicia may still have feelings for Nick, but she thinks they can handle that as long as they are open and honest. Felicia wishes it was that simple. "Come on," Bridget tells her.
Stephanie tells Bridget that Felicia has some news. "Mother?!" Felicia says, giving her mom a look. "You have to tell her," Stephanie insists. Tell her what? Bridget asks. She looks to Felicia and asks what she has to say.
