Taylor asks Ridge to give her what she needs.
At their Bel Air mansion, Taylor watches Ridge use a personal digital assistant to check email and news; he's amazed at the amount of information at his fingertips. Taylor agrees that things changed a lot while she was gone. Like their relationship? he asks. She asks where things stand between them. She knows he moved on while she was gone: he married Brooke and they had a son. But she now needs to know that his thoughts are with her and their family. She recalls how he used to look at her like she was the only woman in the world; that made her want to be in his arms every night. Her question is, does he feel the same way? She admits that it scares her to think about that, and she thinks he should be scared, too. Ridge, however, is more concerned that she still sees things like they used to be. She says that she sees a man torn between two families, and that's unacceptable. While she knows he loves Hope and RJ and she accepts that he had feelings for Brooke, she has to know if he can give her what SHE needs.

Ridge blames Nick upon hearing that Bridget is pregnant.
Before Ridge can answer, the doorbell rings. Taylor asks Ridge not to answer. He ignores it at first, but after a second ring, he opens the door and finds his mother there. He asks what she wants. Stephanie says that she's looking for Ridge. Annoyed by Stephanie's intrusion, Ridge and Taylor say they haven't. They ask what's wrong and point out that Bridget's a grown woman. And a pregnant one, Stephanie says. Ridge asks how she knows this, given how she's on the outs with the family. She tells him how she went to the cabin and found Bridget there, and how Bridget then told her about finding Brooke with Nick. Bridget was ready to break up with Nick until she found out she was pregnant; then she went to tell Nick, but again found him in a close moment with Brooke. Ridge immediately blames "that jerk" Nick. "Not that Brooke's to blame for encouraging it, I'm sure," Taylor quips. Naturally, Stephanie explains, Bridget got upset and threw a fit, and then she took off. Ridge offers to go look for her. Stephanie points out that Bridget might need professional help and asks Taylor to talk to her once she's found. Taylor agrees, but she needs Stephanie to stay out of this. Stephanie turns to leave. Taylor asks where she's going. To look Satan in the eye and teach her a lesson, Stephanie says as she leaves.
Meanwhile, Nick is in his car, looking for Bridget and trying to reach her on her cell. When he fails, he leaves an urgent message asking her to please call him and returns to Brooke's. When Brooke hears that he couldn't find Bridget, she starts to get frantic. She can't believe this is happening all over again. Nick knows she's worried, but he needs her to hold it together before things get out of control. But they are out of control, Brooke reminds him, and they have been since Bridget walked in here last night. It should have been the happiest moment in their lives when Bridget told him she was pregnant with his child, Brooke frets. Nick agrees, looking at a photo of him and Bridget - and now, he fears, Bridget wants to get rid of everything he ever gave her.

Dante offers support to Bridget.
Meanwhile, in their hotel room, Dante tries to support a nauseous Bridget. He asks if it's morning sickness. It might be, Bridget laments. Or it might be the fact that her fiance has feelings for her mother. Dante tells her that Nick has been calling for her and asks if she wants to talk to Nick, but she doesn't see what good it will do. She frets that Nick's mother was right, but she wouldn't listen. And now, there's an innocent child involved. Dante agrees that it's a difficult decision. Of course it is, Bridget snaps, not knowing what else to do. Dante promises to stand by her all the way. He tells her that Dr. Daniels called while she was in the bathroom; even though it's unusual, the doctor agreed to see her this morning. He asks if she's having second thoughts. Nick will be furious, she points out. Better for Nick to be angry than for her to wonder if he loves her or not, Dante replies. Or to wonder if he's staying with her because of the child, Bridget adds. She gets her things and they leave.
Before long, they've arrived to see Dr. Daniels. As Dante checks her in, Bridget recalls seeing Nick with Brooke and Hope. While they wait for the doctor, the phone rings: it's Nick. Dante tells her that she has to talk to Nick eventually, so she takes the call. Nick frantically asks where she is. She's fine, she calmly replies. Nick tells her that he knows about the baby. He knows she's upset with him and Brooke, but he needs to see her. Bridget says she can't and starts to hang up. Nick pleads for her not to hang up and begs her to tell him where she is, but she says she'll see him later and ends the call. The nurse comes to get Bridget; Dante says that she'll be in there in a second. Bridget wipes her nose and says that she doesn't know if she can do this. It's not too late to change her mind, Dante says, but he thinks she'll still get the same lies and denials from her mother and Nick. He asks if she thinks it will change anything. Bridget gets up and goes into the exam room.

Nick and Brooke worry about Bridget.
Brooke asks Nick how Bridget sounded. Distant, he says. She wouldn't say where she was, but at least she took the call. Brooke thinks that's a good sign, but he just wishes he could have talked to Bridget. He fears she might do something crazy. Brooke thinks that Bridget was acting out of hurt and anger. Because he drove her to it, Nick says. Brooke points out that he didn't mean to hurt Bridget - or more accurately, THEY didn't mean to hurt her. But they did, he says, by not facing their feelings for each other. Bridget saw it. But they didn't, Brooke adds, asking what he'll say to Bridget. He'll tell her the truth, he says, that she's carrying his child, and that's his life. Brooke tells him that he's going to be a wonderful father. He looks at her as she reminds him that his focus is on Bridget now; he's going to have his own family. His own family, he says softly; he's going to be a dad.

Stephanie has a gift for Brooke.
After Nick leaves, Brooke gets a visit from Stephanie. Brooke doesn't want to see her, but Stephanie pushes her way in and demands to know if Nick found Bridget. He's with her now, Brooke says. She's sure everything will be OK now. Stephanie asks Brooke if she's alone; Brooke says that Catherine took the kids to the park so they wouldn't have to see how worried she was. And she should be worried, Stephanie says, since she hurt Bridget again. Brooke tells her to stop. Stephanie says that she's not here to argue. She holds up a silver gift bag which she thinks will make all Brooke's problems with Bridget go away. Brooke doesn't know where this is going, but she promises to help her daughter no matter what. Of course she will, Stephanie says, asking if Brooke would do anything for Bridget. Of course, Brooke says. Stephanie is glad to hear that; she takes a wrapped gift box from the bag and holds it out to Brooke.

Bridget recalls everyone's warnings about Nick.
At the clinic, Dante is waiting as Bridget comes out of the room. She's crying, and he holds her to comfort her. They leave and go to the beach, where he asks if she's warm enough. She can't believe it came to this. He's sorry she had to do this, for her sake and Nick's. He tells her that she can wait to talk to Nick, but she sees no reason to put it off. She takes her cell phone from her purse and calls Nick. He's glad to hear from her. She tells him to meet her at the beach house. He says he'll be right there. Dante tells her to go ahead and wait for Nick; he hugs her and says that he'll be waiting for her when she's through. She goes in, changes clothes and sits on the sofa, wrapped in a blanket as she looks at a photo of her with Nick. She recalls Stephanie and Jackie warning her about Nick's feelings for her mother. Nick arrives and tells her how glad he is that he found her. He promises that they'll get through this for their child. He holds her and kisses her forehead, but she has tears in her eyes.
