Nick enlists Chuck and Corky to help with his surprise for Bridget.
Nick drops by Chuck's bar to ask Chuck for a favor; he wants to rent the place out for tomorrow night. Chuck points out that tomorrow is “all you can eat wing night,” when the place is usually packed. Nick's friend Corky asks Chuck where his sense of romance is. Chuck refuses to close his place down for Nick's flavor of the month. Nick tells Chuck to give him the place tomorrow night - and if he refuses, Nick will just buy it from him tomorrow. Corky says that sure sounds serious and asks who the lucky woman is. Nick tells them that it's Bridget, reminding them that she's been here before. Corky recalls the cute, little blonde and offers his approval. Nick tells his friends this is important to him; he wants tomorrow night to be special for Bridget, so he's going to need their help.
Brooke is still on the phone with Ridge, who tells her about his concussion and memory loss. He says he couldn't remember anything, but he could still feel that he belonged somewhere else, and now he realizes that was with her and the kids. He says he's sorry, but she thinks she should be sorry for kicking him out of the house. He doesn't even remember that, but he guesses it doesn't matter anymore. All that matters is that she kept believing in him, and he promises that nothing will ever take him away from his family again. First, she points out, he has to come home. He doesn't want to stop talking to her, but he knows he has to so he can come home and hold her in his arms. She tells him that Massimo should be there soon to fly him home on the Marone jet. He can't wait to see her and the kids, and to take her into their bedroom for a week so they can get caught up. It sounds like he's getting his memory back, Brooke says, crying tears of joy. They exchange “I love you's” and end the call.

Brooke tells Bridget that Ridge is coming home.
Still crying, Brooke hugs Bridget, who starts crying herself. They're both relieved that they found Ridge and he's coming home. And Amber didn't have anything to do with his memory loss? Bridget asks. Brooke suddenly realizes that Massimo still thinks that Amber kidnapped Ridge and goes to call him; Bridget says she already spoke to Jackie, who said that Massimo had already left the plane and is probably with Ridge now. So Ridge can tell Massimo about Amber, Brooke supposes. She tells Bridget how Ridge felt like he belonged somewhere else, even when he couldn't remember. Bridget recalls how Brooke never believed Ridge could abandon her. Brooke agrees she never lost faith, but she's still grateful to Bridget and Nick for their help. Bridget says they were glad to help, since it helped Nick open up to her and brought them closer. Nick even told her that he still wants kids, even though she was sure he'd given up on that idea. Brooke says this sounds serious. Bridget admits she's in love with Nick, and he told her that he loves her too. Brooke's glad Nick feels the same way; she hugs Bridget and tells her she deserves this.

Nick is pleased to hear Ridge is on his way back.
Nick knocks at the door and lets himself in, wondering what all the crying is about. Brooke tells him that Ridge is coming home. Good for her, Nick says, giving her a hug. Brooke and Bridget tell Nick all about Ridge's concussion and memory loss. But the Big Bear thing was months ago, Nick says. Bridget guesses Ridge must have hit his head again, which could have caused bleeding or memory loss. Nick recalls that he punched Ridge the last time he saw him after Ridge crossed the line; he hoped to knock some sense into Ridge but he must have done the opposite. It wasn't his fault, Brooke assures him: it was Morgan DeWitt who took Ridge to Venice and made him think his marriage was over. Nick guesses that must have been the woman Ridge left Cafe Russe with. What woman? Brooke asks. Nick tells her that he and Massimo learned that Ridge had left the bar with a woman, but they didn't want to tell her and upset her without all the facts. He was protecting her, Brooke says. From nothing, he says, since Ridge wasn't cheating on her, but now he's coming home. Just like he said, Brooke reminds him. She goes to tell Hope, Eric, Stephanie and Thomas the good news.

Bridget is intrigued by Nick's reminder of their plans tomorrow night.
Bridget tells Nick that it's a complicated story. In that case, Nick says, there's something they need to tend to first: he kisses her. When they pull back from the kiss, Nick talks about how happy Brooke seems. Bridget says Brooke never lost faith in Ridge. She recalls growing up here [Note: she can't mean this house, of course, since she was grown when Ridge bought it for Taylor], she never understood how her mom never wavered from the belief that she [Brooke] belonged with Ridge. Seeing that kind of devotion now gives Bridget hope. Just in time, Nick says, for her to relax and be herself. He reminds her that he invited her out tomorrow night for something special. Bridget says she's sorry: with everything going out, she forgot about that and made other plans. Then be ready at 7 and wear as little as possible, Nick says. He promises that she'll like what he has planned, since it will be a night she will never forget.

Massimo wonders what to make of Amber's involvement.
In Venice, Ridge tells Amber how the sounds of Brooke's voice has started to bring memories back to him. Amber says she understands how she can feel at home just hearing someone's voice that way. She must mean his son, he guesses; he recalls her saying he didn't approve of that relationship and asks why he didn't. He had his reasons, she says, and he'll remember in time. But for right now, she'd just like to enjoy the peace between them. Just then, Massimo bursts in with the police and orders the cops to arrest Amber, his son's kidnapper! Amber pleads with them to wait, but the cops grab her. As Amber says she didn't kidnap anyone, Massimo runs over to his son and asks if he's OK. A plainclothes detective starts looking through Amber's things as the uniformed cop tells her that they have some questions about her abducting Ridge. Ridge hears and tells them to wait: he orders Massimo to call the cops off, because Amber didn't kidnap him. Massimo points out that Ridge had a concussion, which could have caused memory lapses. Ridge admits that might be true, but there is one thing he is sure of: that Amber tried to help him and isn't guilty of abducting him.

Ridge starts to get his memories back.
Amber and Ridge tell Massimo how Morgan DeWitt brought Ridge here. Mass recalls the name and remembers Ridge saying that the woman was in a psycho ward. She must have gotten out, Ridge says; he's not clear on some of the details, but he recalls forgetting who he was, which left him vulnerable for Morgan to convince him to come here with her. Amber says Ridge didn't even know he had a family until she told him. Mass finds it awfully coincidental that Amber should be here at the same time Morgan spirited Ridge away, giving Amber the convenient opportunity to rescue Ridge. Ridge assures Mass that Amber was shocked to see him here. He tells Massimo how he hit his head at Cafe Russe while Morgan was there, and Morgan then seized the opportunity created by his confusion to convince him they had already planned this trip. But the more Morgan tried to convince him that his family had turned their backs on him, the more he knew someone was waiting for him. The clincher was when he heard that song, "Unforgettable"
Hearing that, Amber goes for her purse and pulls out her portable MP3 player. She finds "Unforgettable" and is sure that hearing the song will help jog Ridge's memory. Sure enough, it does: as he listens, Ridge goes out onto the balcony and recalls meeting Brooke for the first time, their various weddings, Barbados, Portofino, being with her when R.J. was born. He comes back inside, turns to Mass and Amber and tells them, "Let's go home."
