Ridge is stunned by what he sees.

A stunned Ridge stares at the veiled lady in pink struggling with the black clad attacker. Looking past the lady's veil, he thinks it's his late wife, Taylor! Before Ridge can react, another black clad attacker comes up behind him and knocks him on the head. As Ridge falls to the ground, the two black clad men drag the lady in pink off.

Back at the wedding, everyone wonders who screamed. Nick goes to check it out and finds Ridge lying on the ground. Thorne comes out and asks what happened. Ridge mutters, "They took her" and "she's here." Nick and Thorne wonder what he's talking about and drag Ridge back to the wedding area.

Brooke is worried as Ridge is taken to the hospital.

Nick and Thorne bring Ridge back and lie him on the ground. Stephanie tells Megan to take Hope to the house. Hector asks for someone to call 911 and starts to check Ridge out. Brooke worries about her injured husband, but Eric's sure Ridge will be fine. Hector asks Ridge what happened, but Ridge just mutters, "I saw her." When the paramedics arrive at the main house, Stephanie sends Thomas to bring them down. Rick brings Hector some ice as the fireman tries to rouse Ridge. Nick asks Thorne if he saw anyone outside; Thorne says he didn't. Brooke wonders if it has anything to do with the woman they heard scream, whoever she was. Bridget worries that it might be another concussion; Nick tells her not to assume the worst. As Tom brings the paramedics, Hector gives them some instructions and helps get Ridge into an ambulance. Brooke says she wants to go with them and looks to Bridget, who tells her mom to go. Nick and Rick agree that Brooke should go, so she gets in the ambulance to go with Ridge.

On the way to the hospital, Ridge says, "It can't be. I saw her." Who? Brooke asks. Ridge flashes back to the lady in pink, screaming and struggling. Hector senses Ridge's distress and tells Brooke to let her husband rest.

Stephanie talks to the twins about Taylor.

Back at Ridge's house, Stephanie talks with the twins, who are worried about their dad. Stephanie tells them to wait here with Bridget; she promises to call from the hospital with any news. Phoebe worries that Ridge might be hurt; she doesn't think it's fair, since Ridge is all they have since their mother died. And now Nick and Bridget's wedding is ruined, she frets. Stephanie tells her not to worry about things she can't control and assures the girls that their dad will be here for some time to come. Phoebe asks Stephanie if she thinks Taylor is watching over them, like a guardian angel. Stephanie is sure Taylor is watching. She admits she misses Taylor a lot, too. Phoebe says she'll never get used to her mom being gone.

Stephanie explains that Taylor is here in their hearts. She recalls her best friend when she was 14, Zoe, who lost her mother in a car accident. Zoe was so strong, so full of grace, even under all that pressure, that her lesson inspired Stephanie years later when she lost her own mother. She thinks the way Ridge handled Taylor's death was much like Zoe, and she suggests to the twins that they follow their father's example to move on in life.

Outside, Massimo wonders if Amber could be behind this. Thorne suspects that it could be Morgan, and Rick suggests Sheila Carter as a possible culprit. Whoever it is, Massimo vows to make them pay dearly. He calls the police to inform them of last night's intruder and today's events and has the LAPD send a team to check the grounds. Thorne hopes they can find out who that mystery woman is. Rick agrees, since his sister deserved a perfect day today.

Nick and Bridget postpone the wedding.

Nick and Bridget ask the minister if they're married. Unfortunately, the minister says, they're not. Nick wants to get things over and get to the "I do's" now, but Bridget won't go on without her family. Nick tells the minister that he'll be in touch. As the man of God leaves, Bridget explains herself. She thinks a wedding with just her, the groom and a preacher would be too much like her first wedding. She really wants the people who love them to be there to witness their union. Then they can call this a trial run, Nick says. Bridget says they did OK with less than 24 hours to pull this together. They just have to remember to call the armed guard next time, Nick quips. Rick comes over and asks what's going on; when Nick says they're postponing the wedding, Rick offers to tell the guests. Nick vows to keep his eye on Bridget until they're married, She wonders what they expected from a Forrester-Marone wedding, but she doesn't think anything will change between them. Nick says something might: he might love her even more the next time they do this.

Walking around the garden, Bridget and Nick talk about what happened. She frets that they should be on their honeymoon, after a wedding that would have brought their families together. Instead, they're here and Ridge is on a stretcher. Nick assures her that they were meant to be together, so he's sure this wedding will come off without a hitch once Ridge is on his feet. He reminds her that he rarely gets this dressed up once for a woman, so his doing it twice for her should prove to her how much he loves her. They will have their perfect day, he vows. And even though he knows it's not official yet, he wants to tell her, " I do." She replies, "I do, too," and they kiss.

Gaby offers to go with Thomas to the hospital.

When Caitlin and Samantha get the news about the wedding being postponed, Caitlin offers to stay here with Thomas, but he says he'll be OK and tells her to go home with her mom. Gaby comes in; she says she doesn't want to get in the way, but she came with Eric and Stephanie, who've gone to the hospital. She offers to catch a bus, but Thomas tells her to wait here for his grandparents. She asks if he's scared; he's sure his dad will be OK. She thinks he should be with his dad right now and offers to go with him, so she can hook up with Eric and Stephanie there. He thanks her.

At the hospital, Clarke's son Mark Maclaine is on duty in the E.R. when Ridge is brought in. Mark orders a series of neurological checks every five minutes. Brooke thinks that sounds serious, but Hector says it's standard procedure. Still, Brooke is worried and asks Mark what's wrong with her husband. Soon after, Eric and Stephanie arrive and join Brooke. They ask Mark how Ridge is. Mark tells them that he won't know until the scans come back from the lab. The best case, he explains, is that the tests are negative and Ridge is fine. And the worst case? Brooke asks. Mark tells her not to get ahead of herself until the tests are back. Hector then takes his leave, telling Brooke to call if there's anything else he can do.
