Sally disguises herself to crash the wedding.
Clarke comes in to Sally's office and finds his red-headed boss disguising herself with a fake mustache and a sailor's dress uniform. When Sally tells him that she's dressed up as the commander of the "S.S. Marone" to attend Bridget and Nick's wedding, Clarke tells her to forget it! She asks for a good reason why; he points out that she wasn't invited and tells he to give those two a break. She says that the union of the Forrester heiress to the Marone heir, bringing those families together, is so momentous that even her crashing the wedding can't spoil it.

Clarke tells Sally to forget her plans.
Clarke agrees that the two families have often butted heads. And now they're united, Sally says, a miracle made possible by Bridget, the conscience of the Forrester clan. Clarke agrees that Bridget has paid her dues. And now she's been rewarded with a man who is worthy of her and will give her a wonderful life, Sally states.

Eric prepares to walk Bridget down the aisle.
At Ridge and Brooke's house, Eric tells Bridget how beautiful she looks. She tells him that she's waited her whole life for this. As the wedding party and the guests watch, Eric walks Bridget down the aisle to Nick and tells the sea captain to take care of her. Bridget asks Nick how "Mr. Calm, Cool and Collected" is. He's about to lose his cool over how beautiful she is, Nick says.

The minister begins the ceremony.

Nick signals the minister to begin. As the minister welcomes everybody, Bridget turns to Brooke, who tells Bridget she loves her and tells Nick and Bridget to both always be happy. The minister then talks about how Bridget and Dominick's love for each other has brought them together today. In a fitting nod to Nick's nautical background, the minister says to the couple, "We embrace you. We cherish you. We support you in this singular, most luminous journey on which you are about to embark."

Outside the gate, the lady in pink anxiously wrings her hands and watches. From behind her veil, her gaze keeps shifting first to Ridge, then Thomas, then the twins, and finally to Stephanie.

Rick reads from Bridget's favorite book.
The minister then talks about never ending love and calls for Rick and Stephanie to read two special readings which reflect the bride and groom's feelings for each other. Rick begins by stating that "Wuthering Heights" was Bridget's favorite book when she was young and still is; he thinks Nick will understand why when he hears this passage. He reads, "He's more myself than I am. Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same. If all else perished and he remained, I should still continue to be. And if all else remained, and he were annihilated, the universe would turn into a might stranger. He's always, always in my mind, not as a pleasure to myself, but as my own being."

Stephanie reads from one of Nick's favorite poems.
Stephanie then reads a passage from E.E. Cummings that Nick has selected, guessing that Nick's choice shows his sophisticated taste. She reads, "Somewhere I have never traveled, gladly beyond any experience, your eyes have their silence. In your most frail gesture are things which enclose me, or which I cannot touch because they are too near. Your slightest look easily will unclose me, though I have closed myself as fingers. You always open, petal by petal, myself as spring, touching skillfully, mysteriously, her first rose. I do not know what it is about you that closes and opens, only something in me understands that the voice of your eyes is deeper than all roses. Nobody, not even the rain, has such small hands." Nick looks to Bridget and asks if he "done good"; she says he did.

Bridget recites her vows...
The minister then calls for Dominick and Bridget to declare their intentions, even though he already has no doubt about their feelings. He has never seen a couple more in love. And he never will, Nick says. After they promise to love and be faithful each other in the traditional way, Bridget and Nick get to deliver their own personal vows. Bridget goes first and says, "You know, it's funny, because people -- people always love to ask, 'when was the first moment that you realized you were falling in love?' As if something -- as if something inside of you shifts, and you're changed forever. But how could you not be? 'Cause you're standing and looking at the man that -- suddenly you realize, has become more important to you than the -- the air that you breathe. And you -- you really know now that you could look at him and listen to him and touch him and be with him in every way, every day, for the rest of your life. And the really amazing part is, in that same moment, you realize that he feels the same way about you, too, without either one of you ever having to say a word. But I'm saying it now, as my vow to you. Before god and our family, and our friends, that you, Nick Marone, are my one true love. And I will love you for the rest of my life."

...and Nick then recites his.
Nick says it will be tough to find the words to top that, but he begins, "I guess I think the truth is in the eyes. And I look around this room, and I see how much you mean to everyone, as a daughter, as a sister, as a friend. And I realize I'm being entrusted with the most precious cargo on earth -- your heart. So I'm not just becoming a husband today. I'm becoming a guardian and a protector. Now, a poet I'm not. But when I look in your eyes, I can tell you I'll be the best husband and the best father I can be. And if anyone in this room doubts that, I'll come after you with a shark spear." The guests laugh. Nick then continues, "Because I love you -- from now until the day I die, and beyond.: In a Scottish accent, he adds, "That's my promise to you, lassie," before returning to his normal voice and saying, "My vow forever."

Ridge senses something wrong.
The minister then calls for the exchange of the rings, the symbols of the bond that unites two hearts in endless love. Nick then takes Bridget's hand and, repeating after the minister, offers the ring as a sign of his abiding love and faithfulness.

Outside, hearing the minister talk about the wedding rings, the lady in pink wrings her hands even more.

Standing beside Nick, Ridge seems to get a chill, a sense that something's wrong.

Someone attacks the lady in pink.
As Nick is about to place the ring on Bridget's finger, a muffled scream is heard. Bridget and Nick wonder what that was. Ridge tells them he'll be right back and goes to investigate.

Outside, the lady in pink is grabbed by a figure clad from head to toe in black. As the man in black holds his hand over the lady's mouth to muffle her cries, Ridge runs over and grabs the masked attacker by the shoulder. Still struggling with the lady in pink, the attacker spins around to face Ridge, who is astonished as he looks past the pink lady's veil and sees a familiar sight. "Taylor," he gasps in stunned disbelief!
