Stephanie tells Eric how Morgan took Ridge to Venice.
At the Forrester mansion, Stephanie tells Eric how Morgan kidnapped Ridge and took him to Venice. A furious Eric wonders what Morgan was thinking and hopes that they're in no danger from that woman. Stephanie explains that Morgan is getting help now. She also points out that Morgan actually committed no crimes; even though Morgan lied to get Ridge to leave town with her, Ridge accompanied her to Venice willingly. Stephanie hopes that with her mother's help, Morgan will get the help she needs in the new institution. Eric is still concerned because of what Morgan put the family through, especially Brooke. Stephanie actually praises Brooke for how she handled Ridge being missing, and she hopes Brooke and Ridge will find some well-deserved happiness now that Ridge is back home.

Eric worries about Bridget's relationship with Nick.
Stephanie says she's looking forward to some peace in the family. Eric agrees they've had their share of storms lately. Stephanie changes the subject to Bridget's relationship with Nick. She tells Eric that she's spoken to Nick about it, and she feels that his affections toward Bridget are genuine. In fact, she's never seen Bridget happier. Eric however is still concerned; despite Stephanie's reservations, he thinks he should have a talk with Nick.

Ridge comes home to his wife.
In Bel Air, Ridge and Brooke are finally reunited. He tells her how he felt lost, but deep down, he could feel his connection to her. Brooke tells him how the whole time he was away, she kept believing that he would come back to her. That's because nothing could keep him away from her, he says; he tells her that she's his world, his wife and his lover for all time. For all time, Brooke repeats, crying tears of joy as they fall into a passionate kiss. They go up to the bedroom, where Ridge gushes over all the love they have for their children. The kids know he'll always love and protect them, she says. He says he feels the same about her. She says, “As long as Morgan...” Ridge cuts her off, but she says they have to talk about this. Ridge isn't sure he can remember enough. First he was in his parents' house, and the next thing he knows, he's on his way to Venice with Morgan. Brooke wonders what Morgan wanted. He says she wanted his baby and even brought in a fake Brooke who told him that their relationship was over. The faux Brooke told him they had no kids, but it didn't make sense. Brooke is shocked at how obsessed Morgan was. Then he heard their song, he explains, and he felt her in his mind. He couldn't make out her face, but he felt drawn to her. Now he's back with her and he never wants to let go. They hug, bringing a smile to Brooke's face.

Brooke offers to refresh Ridge's memory.
Soon after, a towel clad Ridge comes out of the shower and finds Brooke standing by the window, wearing a silky light blue robe. Seeing him come in, Brooke drops her robe, revealing a light blue lace negligee. Ridge drops the towel in his hand (he still has one around his waits) and approaches his wife, telling her how beautiful she is. They start kissing; Ridge pulls back and thanks her for all she's given him, and just for being her. He kisses her again. She says she's his completely. Ridge says he couldn't love her more than he does now; she says she feels the same way and wants to spend the rest of her life bringing his memory back. Sitting down, Ridge quips that he's having trouble remembering certain things. Then maybe she can refresh his memory, she purrs. Promising to be gentle, she sits down and reminds him how he likes to be kissed on the chest. She kisses him there; he says he remembers that, and he also recalls how she likes being touched in the middle of her back. He runs his fingers down her spine and she gasps his name. He then removes the straps of her negligee and they kiss again.

Bridget is moved by Nick's proposal.
At Chuck's, Bridget is completely speechless seeing the engagement ring Nick is holding. He says it's a symbol of their unity, one they'll have until they die. He says that she's made him believe in love again. She says she sees their life together when she looks at him and begs him to ask her again if she'll marry him. He does; she accepts and kisses him. Nick then puts the ring on her finger; her mascara is running down her face, but that only makes her more beautiful to Nick. She tells him that she's never been more certain about anything in her life; she knows they'll be together forever. Until they're old and grey, Nick says. She feels like she's in a dream; she is, he says, one that will never go away, just like he never will. They start kissing again. Bridget pulls him toward her and says she doesn't want to wait any longer. Nick keeps kissing her, but he then pulls away and tells her to come with him. Still kissing, he takes her by the hand and leads her out.

Nick makes love to Bridget.
Shortly after, they arrive at the Shady Marlin. Nick covers Bridget's eyes as he leads her below deck. He pulls his hand away and she sees that he has candles lit, champagne on ice and stars on the curtains. She looks around and smiles at him. Watching her, Nick says she's the most beautiful sight he's ever seen. She moves toward him and they start kissing again. While they kiss, he moves his arms around her and unzips her dress. He then shrugs off his jacket, picks her up and carries her to the bed. He then takes off his shirt and they make love.
When they're done, Bridget lies in the bed next to Nick, both naked under the covers, his arms wrapped around her. They kiss. She says she always believed in passion, but she never believed it would find her. But it found her - and HE found her. He says he knows the feeling. She says it's never been like this for her before. She feels so safe, like she can say or do anything she wants. That's because she is safe with him, he says. He promises to keep her warm and kisses her again. He then asks her to hand him something from the night stand next to the bed. Reaching over, she sees it's a remote. Already? she asks, handing it to him. Nick points it at the fireplace and it comes on. She says he thought of everything; it reminds her of their first kiss at Big Bear. Just the two of them, he recalls, by the fire. He promises never to hurt her and to never lose what they have. He says she makes him see things no one else sees and shows him the man he's meant to be, with everything she does. She gazes at him and they start kissing yet again.
