Stephanie shows concern for Bridget.
Bridget stands by the terrace in the Forrester mansion, recalling the fun times she had on the slopes with Nick at Big Bear [this looks like never before aired footage that was taped during the remote shoot that aired in February]. Stephanie sees the smile on Bridget's face and guesses Bridget's thinking about Nick. From the giddy look on Bridget's face, Stephanie assumes that things between Bridget and Nick may be more serious than when they last talked; she admits she's concerned, as she thinks Bridget deserves some happiness after the challenging life she's had with Brooke as a mother. She thinks those challenges made Bridget an exceptional woman. Bridget thanks her for the compliment.

Bridget tells Stephanie that Nick’s past with Brooke isn’t an iaaue for her.
Stephanie asks Bridget about the recent misunderstanding between Brooke and Ridge. Bridget wishes she could make things better between those two; she knows she's not to blame, but it's hard for her to see her mom so miserable without the man she loves. Stephanie senses Bridget and Nick have both been dancing around that issue and asks why. Bridget says she thought Stephanie was glad when she and Nick were taking things slow. Stephanie asks if that means Nick has never said “I love you” to her. Bridget says there are many ways to say that without words, so she sees no reason to pressure Nick to say it. Besides, the last thing she expected when she came home was to fall for another man who was involved with her mom, which isn't a problem for her anyway. How so? Stephanie asks. Because Nick chose her, she explains, even with his past with her mom. That says it all for her.

Nick lends Brooke a helping hand.
Brooke is at home, on the phone with Megan trying to juggle some work. She needs to reschedule a meeting because R.J. was up all night with an ear infection, and she needs a messenger to pick up a presentation that she couldn't upload, as her laptop is broken. Nick comes in, a plate of fruit in one hand and a laptop bag in the other. He hands Brooke the fruit, takes the phone from her and tells Megan to cancel the messenger, since he'll upload the presentation, and to move Brooke's meeting so she can take R.J. to the doctor. After he hangs up, he tells Brooke that he made the doctor's appointment, so she should go check on R.J. while he uses her laptop (repaired by the Marone tech guys) to upload her report and calls Massimo to see if there's news about Ridge.
When Brooke returns, Nick ends his call to Massimo. He tells Brooke that they traced Ridge's cell phone to Northern Italy and are trying to work around privacy laws to find the exact city. So they'll have answers soon, she says. Nick offers to get her something to go with the fruit, but she says he's done enough already. She can thank him once Ridge is home, he says. She says he sounds like Bridget. He guesses Bridget takes after her mom in that she gets to him in the best ways. He thinks there are three women who have had an impact on his life - his mom, Bridget and her. Brooke says she's touched. Nick says it's no secret how he felt about her. It was devastating when things ended between them, but Bridget helped him move on. Bridget's always been caring that way, Brooke says. Nick says he sees the love she has for Bridget, just like her other kids and even Ridge. He's sure fate will bring Ridge back to her. Brooke thanks him for saying that and rescuing her today. He says he just gave her some extra hands, since she's trying to be both parents to the kids. He knows that's hard. Brooke looks at a photo of her and Ridge and says she wants her husband back home - and once he's back, she's not letting go ever again.

Morgan tells Ridge to let her help him relax.
In Venice, Morgan comes in from the balcony of the hotel room and finds Ridge desperately looking for the CD that was playing last night. He wants to hear the song he heard (UNFORGETTABLE) again, since it brought back fuzzy memories of a woman he feels he is close to. Maybe that song can help bring back his memories, he suggests. Morgan tells him she's sorry, but that song was on the radio. Upset, Ridge sits on the couch. Morgan walks behind him and massages his shoulders; she says she's sorry, because she knows how desperate he is to remember, but she thinks that forcing the memories isn't going to help him. She kneels down closer as she massages him, whispering to him to just let her help him relax. She's sure that it would make all the difference in the world to him if he would just let her help him. She tells him to trust her. She then walks around to the sofa, sits beside him, leans close and starts to kiss him. As he starts to respond, she takes his hand and leads him to the bedroom.

Ridge's foggy memories keep him from making love to Morgan.
In the bedroom, Morgan and Ridge are still kissing as she removes his shirt and lowers him to the bed. She straddles him, leans forward and really starts kissing him. As the moment gets hot and heavy, Ridge is trying to go with the flow, but he starts seeing cloudy, blurred visions of a blonde woman. The woman [Brooke] turns, as if to face him, but the face is still clouded and he can't quite make it out. Ridge pulls away from Morgan and gets up. Morgan asks what's wrong. He says he can't do this. He can't make love to her. He keeps seeing the woman from last night, the one he had a veiled memory of dancing with. But this time... Morgan pleads with him to open up about this woman. He says he knows he's connected to this woman, that's she someone special and important in his life. He can't get her out of his head. He tells Morgan he's sorry; he knows he's hurting her by not making love to her, but he just can't do it while this woman is on his mind. He doesn't know who the woman is, but he can't escape her.

Amber is stunned by who she sees across the canal.
Across the canal, Amber checks into a hotel room. The bellman asks if she has been in Venice before. She says she has. He asks if this is a business or pleasure trip. She says it's neither. She feels like she really messed up her life and came here for a fresh start. She goes out on the balcony and admires the view before thanking the bellman and showing him out. She then looks in the mirror and says this was a mistake; even though she's traveled halfway around the world, it's still the same face in the mirror, and nothing in Venice can change that.
She starts to unpack, but she can't help but remember the night Thomas learned about the first photo she took of Ridge and Bridget. Ridge told her that her time with this family was up and he was throwing her out like the trash. And all she did, she tells herself, is prove Ridge right. As she goes out on the balcony to sip some wine, she tells herself that she has no chances left to prove herself to that family. That's why she came here, to get a fresh start, away from... She looks across the canal and pauses, as she thinks she sees Ridge! She thinks she must be losing it; it can't be him! She goes inside and gets her camera, so she can use the zoom to be sure... and she's stunned when she points the lens across the canal and sees that it is in fact Ridge. What's he doing here? she asks herself.
