Darla reminds Thorne what he's asking Sally to give up.
At Spectra, Darla and Thorne wait for Sally, who's in Clarke's office indulging in some "Dutch courage" while deciding what to do about Thorne's proposal. Darla thinks Sally loves Thorne dearly and therefore hates being in this position. Thorne says he knows Sally loves him, and he loves her like a second mother after what she's done for him. But he feels like he needs more control in the company if he's to take Spectra to the top. And if Sally doesn't agree? Darla asks. Then he'll accept Ridge's offer and return to Forrester when his contract ends, Thorne says. Darla blames Ridge for making him even think he's undervalued here and asks him to realize that he's asking Sally to give up a piece of herself.

Clarke wonders how Sally will reply to Thorne's proposal.
Sally and Clarke return and find Darla alone. Sally asks Darla if she made Thorne realize what he'd be giving up by jumping ship at the height of his success. Clarke agrees that they've waited a long time with this. Darla says Thorne just wants his contributions to be recognized. Sally offers to take out an ad praising Thorne as their savior, but Clarke realizes Thorne only wants half the profits, or he's leaving. Darla asks Sally if she could meet Thorne halfway. Sally reminds Darla all the blood and sweat she's poured into this company over the years. After all that, she doesn't know if she can just hand half of that to Thorne. If she feels that strongly about it, Thorne says, entering the room, then she shouldn't. He reminds her, however, that his request is reasonable.

Sally makes Thorne an offer.
Sally isn't sure she agrees when she compares Thorne's six months at Spectra to her lifetime of work here. But in that six months, Thorne points out, he drove Spectra's value up significantly. Clarke admits Thorne has a point. Seeing she's outvoted, Sally tells Thorne she has an offer for him, one she hopes will preserve all they've worked for over these last few months. She's willing to split the company with him, but she can't just give it to him. She's had an investment banker appraise the business and has found it's worth $100 million. If Thorne wants half the profits, he'll have to buy into half the business for $50 million. It's the best she can do. She asks Thorne what he thinks.

Brooke asks Ridge and Bridget to look deep inside themselves.
At Ridge's house, Brooke asks Ridge and Bridget to look inside themselves for any latent feelings between them. She'd rather get any feelings out in the open and deal with them in therapy then continue in denial. Ridge says they told her... She says she knows what they said, but latent feelings can sometimes stay hidden until it's too late. That's why she needs them to search their hearts and be honest with themselves. Bridget says she loves Ridge and always will, but not in a sexual way. Ridge says he loves Bridget's warmth, compassion and sensitivity, but he only has passion for one person, Brooke. Brooke says she needed to hear that. Ridge wishes she didn't have to and blames Amber and that stupid photo. But thanks to that photo, Brooke says, they dealt with this. She wonders if she brought some of this on herself by listening to Stephanie's warnings that her marriage was in danger. But nothing happened, Ridge says. Bridget agrees and is sorry she caused her mom any grief. Brooke says she believes them both. Ridge is about to tear up the photo, but Brooke asks for one last look. She sees now just what Bridget and Ridge claimed, Ridge's joy and concern for Bridget. Now that she sees it, they can put this behind them and never bring it up again. They all hug.

Stephanie kicks Amber out!
At the Forrester mansion, Stephanie refuses to believe Amber's claim that she took that photo out of concern for the family. She's sure Amber took it to get even with Ridge! Amber says she'd never lie to Stephanie, since she knows the Forrester matriarch would see right through her. Maybe she went about it the wrong way, but she really thinks they have to stop Ridge before he makes Bridget his next victim. Stephanie tells her to stop right now! She points out that Amber is not part of this family, so none of this is her business. That's why she's asking... no, she's telling Amber to pack her things, leave this house and never come back. Amber pleads with her, but Stephanie insists she means it. She gave Amber every opportunity, and she repays that by trying to hurt her family? She thinks Amber is out of line and isn't going to buy any tears over the situation. Amber argues that Ridge was out of line too, which is why she took that photo as proof for Brooke... The only reason she took that photo, Stephanie insists, was to get back at Ridge for not wanting her with Tom, and that's why she's ending this now. She wants Amber out before she causes any more damage to this family! Amber runs out in tears.

An angry Bridget hopes Stephanie didn't believe Amber's lies.
Soon after, an angry Bridget storms into the house, looking for Amber. Stephanie tells her that Amber went back to the guest house, but she'll soon be gone. She thinks Bridget can guess why she kicked Amber out. Bridget guesses Amber showed Stephanie the photo and hopes Stephanie didn't believe a word Amber said. Stephanie admits there are still issues to discuss: while she isn't accusing Bridget of anything, she can't ignore the past feelings Bridget shared with Ridge. Bridget insists that what happened in that photo was perfectly innocent. She, her mom and Ridge have worked through this, and Brooke sees now that Amber was wrong. There's nothing going on, she insists, and she and Ridge will never cross that line again!

Amber tells Ridge he's wrong about her, but he's not buying it.
At the guest house, Amber is packing when Ridge drops in. She sees his angry look and guesses Brooke threw him out. Actually, he says, his marriage is fine, despite her contemptible attempt to drive his family apart. Amber insists that she was only trying to protect his family, but Ridge doesn't want to hear it. The only one she's ever cared about is herself, he insists, but this time she went too far. Amber tells him to calm down: she didn't mean to cause any harm. That she could even say that shows how delusional she is, Ridge states. Amber says she's not delusional; she knows what she saw in that picture. She saw what she wanted to, Ridge says. He sees the suitcase and wonders if she's making a quick getaway. She says Stephanie threw her out. Ridge is glad his mom sees Amber for the cancer she is. Not everyone feels that way, she says. If she's talking about Thomas, Ridge says, that relationship is over. He warns her not to even think of telling his son about this sordid incident. Amber says she loves Thomas too much to do that. Ridge says she doesn't know the meaning of the word love. He knows she wants to be part of this family, but she should forget it. He'll never allow it!

Ridge returns home. Brooke asks if he had it out with Amber. Actually, he says, his mom took care of things before he got there and kicked Amber out. But right now, he wants to forget about Amber and focus on his wife. He realizes how she almost lost faith in him tonight, but he wants her to know that she and their family mean everything to him. He promises to never again do anything that would make her doubt him. They lie down on the bed and kiss.

At the guest house, Amber stops her packing and stands by the window, looking at the photo of Ridge and Bridget. She thinks about Ridge's threat to erase her from this family and tells herself that Ridge better think again. She won't let him do that, and she intends to teach him a lesson he'll remember for a very long time.
