Rick confides in Brooke and Whip that he's worried about Amber.
At Brooke's house, she and Whip arrive home to find Rick worried about Amber. Whip wonders if she's just checking fabrics or something, but Rick is really concerned that she's been missing since this morning. Brooke offers to make some calls, but Rick reminds her that she is still on her honeymoon. With that, Whip and Brooke head upstairs to the bedroom.

Rick and Erica wonder where Amber could be.
Erica gets up off the couch, where she has been sitting with little Eric, and asks Rick what's wrong. He admits that Amber missed a marketing meeting today and has not been herself lately. Erica offers to stay with little Eric while Rick goes to look for her, but he says he wants to wait for a call from Amber's doctor. Erica assures him that he has nothing to feel guilty about and hopes he realizes that. Just then, the phone rings: it's Dr. Wilson. Rick explains to the doctor that he is worried about the pain Amber's been feeling and the pain pills, but he is stunned when the doctor says Amber should not be taking pills! The doctor explains how the pills are a highly addictive narcotic, so he did not refill the prescription, nor did he want to prescribe anything else until Amber came to see him. Dr. Wilson then apologizes, but he has to cut this short. He asks Rick to make sure Amber makes an appointment to see him. Rick says he will and hangs up, wondering where Amber could be. He heads for the door. Erica asks where he is going, so he tells her what the doctor said about the pills, so he doesn't know what to think. All he knows is that Amber is out there somewhere all drugged up, so he has to go look for her. Erica agrees to stay with little Eric and tells him to be careful, so Rick heads out in search of his wife.

Whip tries to convince Brooke to let him share her bed.
Up in the bedroom, Brooke is in her robe as Whip starts undressing. Brooke points to the bathroom and tells him to do it in there. Whip reminds her that they ARE married now, and while he has tried to be patient, he DOES have needs. So take care of them, Brooke says -- alone, in the bathroom! Whip tries to convince Brooke to make love, but she thinks he needs a cold shower instead. While she appreciates what he has done for her, she's not ready to share a bed with any man just yet. Whip tries to tell her that he's not trying to replace Deacon in her life; rather, he wants to erase Deacon from their lives, but he can't do that if Brooke won't let him. Brooke says she just wants to be honest with him and hands him a robe, again pointing him to the bathroom. Whip is in the bathroom for quite a while, so Brooke calls out to him, and she is stunned when he comes out wearing her lingerie. Brooke can't help but laugh at how absurd he looks and asks if this is some fetish of his. Actually, he says, this is his first time -- and he only did it because Brooke said she can't share her bed with a MAN. What about a woman, he asks, a grin on his face? Brooke laughs.

Brooke laughs at the sight of a lingeire clad Whip.
Whip climbs into bed next to Brooke and asks how he can win her heart. She says she can tell him how NOT to do it, but Whip teases that she is just jealous of how good he looks in her lingerie. She laughs again and says she's sorry it has to be this way, but she never led him on about having sex. Whip knows that, but he admits that he is a patient man and has faith enough for the both of them that eventually, he will win her over. Until then, Brooke reminds him, his place is -- she points to a pillow and blanket on the floor. If he's got to sleep on the floor again, Whip asks, can he at least get a good night hug. Brooke agrees and hugs him, but then backs away when she feels something from his body close to her. Well, Whip laughs, that's a first: that usually happens when the woman's wearing the lingerie, he quips.

Megan tries to convince Deacon to move on.
In the promotions office at Forrester, Megan is with Deacon, who can't get Brooke and Whip off his mind. Megan says he knows he doesn't want to hear this, but Brooke and Whip ARE married now, so Deacon needs to get over it! Deacon says the though of them together makes him sick to his stomach, especially after Brooke said that they made love. However, he's not sure if he believes her because he knows how Brooke feels about him and their baby. Suddenly, Megan says it's getting late so she has to leave, but Deacon stops her, guessing that she is hiding something. He guesses that Brooke admitted to her that she really didn't sleep with Whip, but Megan denies it. If that's so, Deacon asks, then why can't she look him in the eye? Because she can't stand seeing him get worked up like this, Megan claims. She again tells him to just forget Brooke and move on, but Deacon says if they're not sleeping together, then it's not over. Even if that's so, Megan says, that doesn't mean Brooke will just jump into bed with Deacon, and in fact, she hopes for Brooke's sake that she DOES sleep with Whip. How can she say that, Deacon asks? Megan replies that she can say that because she knows how much Brooke and Bridget will be hurt if the truth comes out. If Brooke has to sleep with Whip to keep her secret, Megan says, then she'll do it: she has to! She leaves the office, but from the look on his face, Deacon still isn't convinced.

Amber seems quite happy as Erica looks on.
Back at Brooke's house, Amber comes in the door, all giddy and giggling. Erica asks where Amber has been, but Amber practically ignores her and rushes over to see her son. As Amber's busy calling Eric her "little munchkin head," Erica is trying to get answers. She says that Rick is out there looking for Amber, but Amber giggles that she's right here. Little Eric tells his Mommy that he missed her. Amber is about to go over and hug her son, but she stumbles. When Erica tries to catch her, Amber asks what's the deal with that. She says she wants to go take her son to the pool, but Erica tries to convince her to lie down instead. Eric asks his Mommy to read to him. Erica says Mommy's tired, but Amber insists she isn't and grabs the book from Eric's hand. Amber tears into Erica, saying she's nothing but the baby sitter, and she accuses Erica of trying to help herself to Amber's family. But it's not going to happen, Amber teases, because no one wants Erica around, so she might as well leave. Erica goes outside and calls Rick on his cell phone. When he picks up, she tells him how out of it Amber is. Rick asks Erica to stay there and keep Amber from leaving, but Erica doesn't know if she can because of how angry Amber is with her. She promises to try, however. She goes back in and finds Amber trying to read to Eric; she's so out of it that she can't even get out simple words like "car" or moon. Erica suggests that Eric go upstairs, so he does. Once he's gone, Amber says this is all Erica's fault! Erica says she's just trying to help, but Amber says that Erica can't help her because she doesn't even know her. She orders Erica out yet again, but Erica says that she's waiting for Rick. Amber is offended by the thought of her husband and Erica tag teaming her, so she heads for the door. Erica tries to stop her, but Amber, practically in tears, pushes her way past and storms out into the night!

Erica tells Rick that she let the intruder get away.
Rick comes home and asks where Amber is. She left, Erica admits, explaining that she tried to stop Amber but couldn't because of little Eric. She tells Rick she is so sorry, but Amber was so mean to her. It's obvious Amber doesn't want her around, she says, so maybe she should go. No, Rick says, giving her a reassuring hug. he says that little Eric needs someone to care for him, and since neither he nor Amber is in any shape to do that, he needs Erica's help. Erica is unsure because she doesn't want Amber to hate her, but Rick pleads with her to tell him that she'll stay. His family is falling apart, he points out, and right now Erica is the only stable thing he and little Eric have.

A sobbing Amber rolls in the doorway...
Meanwhile, you see Amber still crying as she shows up on a doorstep. You can't see the whole doorway, but it looks like Ridge and Taylor's house. Amber cries out for someone to open the door and help her. The door opens and Amber tumbles in, crying for the person who has opened it to please help her!
