As Clarke tries to pull her away, Sally vows to soon toast to Brooke's destruction.
At Cafe Russe, Clarke tries to get Sally away from Brooke and Whip and back to their table, but Sally first wants to congratulate the bride -- although she bets Brooke has the marriage thing down pat by now and doesn't need well wishes. Whip thanks Sally and suggests she get to her party, but she says it's not really a party. It's more a scientific test about how living well is the best revenge, although she herself can't live very well knowing her enemy is doing the same. Clarke tells Sally that there's a bottle of champagne with her name on it at their table, but Sally says she'll save that bottle to toast the destruction and demise of Ms. Brooke in the near future. With that, Clarke pulls Sally away and she and her crew depart.

Brooke worries about Sally's threats, but Whip advises her not to worry.
Brooke wonders what Sally meant by that comment about her destruction. Whip assures his bride that Sally is crazy and drunk, so he doesn't think they should worry. Brooke points out how Sally blames her for Macy's death, but Whip thinks Macy wouldn't think much of her mom running around making empty threats. Brooke fears that they're not empty, but Whip is sure Sally can't do anything to hurt them. But Sally seemed so confident with the way she was throwing money around, Brooke says. Whip bets Sally hit some jackpot somewhere and got drunk celebrating, so there's nothing to worry about. He thinks Brooke is so used to living under a dark cloud that she can't help but worry, but he says her marriage to him changed all that. He's sure she'll see in time how comfortable stability can be, both for her and the baby. Brooke agrees it would be nice to give this baby the stability she never gave Rick and Bridget, which is the reason why her two kids worry about her so much. Whip thinks in time, Whip and Bridget will see how real this marriage is and will stop worrying. But the irony is, Brooke states, that the marriage ISN'T real. But it could be, Whip says. He reminds Brooke how Rick loved someone else when he married Amber for their child's sake, but now they have a solid marriage. He thinks the same thing can happen with Brooke and him, since you never know what could happen.

Megan lets Erica and little Eric go in to see Rick.
At Forrester, Thorne and Kristen are in Eric's office when Rick comes in, looking for his dad. Kristen says Eric left, but Thorne knows what he wanted to see Rick about: he is worried about Amber not being around of late. Meanwhile, outside the office, Erica and little Eric approach Megan's desk. Megan recognizes Erica from the wedding and says hi. Erica explains that little Eric wanted to see his mom, but Megan informs her that Amber's not here. Rick is in Eric's office, however, she points out, so she invites Erica to take little Eric in to see his dad. As she's about to go in, Erica is in awe of the fact that she's going into Eric Forrester's office. She bets her mom would just die if she knew Erica was here.

Amber is distant when Alexandra tries to catch up with her.
Meanwhile, at The Lair, Amber is washing down some of her pills with some wine, thanking Ziggy as she gulps down the wine. As she orders another glass, Deacon's waitress friend Alexandra spots Amber and comes over to say hi. She bets Amber is really busy these days given how someone wearing Amber's designs comes in almost every day. With a faraway look in her eyes, Amber says her life is one big thrill. Alex wants to hear all about it and offers to take a break to chat, but Amber says there's really nothing new going on. Alex can't believe that: this should be the best time of Amber's life, she says! Amber starts to break into tears. Alex asks what's wrong, but Amber simply asks the bar maid to leave her alone. Alex says she's sorry and leaves Amber alone with her troubles.

Thorne and Kristen question Amber's commitment to the company.
Back in Eric's office, Thorne and Kristen drill into Rick, asking where Amber has been. She missed an important meeting, Kristen points out. Rick is stunned. Just them there's a knock at the door: it's Erica, who hopes she isn't interrupting. Rick says he'll just be a few minutes, so he asks her to wait on the couch while he talks with his siblings. Rick then turns back to Thorne, who worried that this is the second time that Amber has bailed on them. He reminds Rick how Eric had to call in a lot of favors to get the Ambrosia line in Fenmore's, and Kristen adds how Fenmore's is a critical account that could mean a lot of exposure for Amber. Rick understands and is sure Amber does too, but Kristen and Thorne worry that Amber is not following up on her commitment to the company and the family. If she can't handle that, Thorne says, then he's going to talk to Eric to pull the plug on the whole line! Rick says they can't take that away from Amber. Kristen says they don't want to do that, but at the same time, Amber can't keep blowing them off, especially Eric. Rick promises to talk to Amber, but he thinks Kristen and Thorne can help by taking some of the burden off Amber. He suggests that Kristen is familiar with Amber's style, so she should be able to take some of the designs that didn't make the collection and glitz them up for Fenmore's. That will buy Amber some time to come up with some new stuff. He then suggests that Thorne look into some of the licensing offers that legal has been flooded with. Thorne thinks Amber might prefer fresh, new talent to his more established licensees, but Kristen thinks he can still help weed out the unacceptable candidates. Thorne and Kristen both agree to pitch in as Rick assures them that they'll be fine.

Rick places his hand on Erica's arm as he thanks her for her loyalty and trust.
Rick then realizes that Erica and little Eric are still here and apologizes to them. He wonders where Amber could be. Erica says she is sorry that Amber has put him in such a bad position and he thanks her for the concern. She suggests that she and Eric leave to get out of Rick's hair. Rick thanks her again for coming and asks her to call him if she hears from Amber. Erica says she will and offers to stay a little later tonight, in case Amber needs the extra help. Rick thinks that will be a good idea and thanks her. As she leaves, Erica promises not to tell anybody about this; she wants Rick to know he can trust her. Rick thanks her and touches her arm, saying that means a lot to him. Erica takes little Eric and leaves, and you can tell how happy she is from the look on her face.

Ziggy reluctantly tells Sheila that Amber is addicted to pain killers.
At Erica's apartment, Ziggy wonders why Sheila is so interested in Amber. Sheila says Amber got her hooks into Erica, but Ziggy thinks Sheila should be grateful to Amber for taking a runaway and giving her a job. He knows Amber is going through a rough time, but -- Sheila isn't buying it and again asks what Ziggy meant when he said Amber had demons. Ziggy is silent, and Sheila wonders if he is blackmailing Amber. Ziggy says no, leading Sheila to ask why Amber gave him money. Ziggy tries to say that it was a loan, but Sheila isn't buying. She changes her tone and says she must have misjudged Amber, so she has to make things right -- perhaps by telling Erica and having her thank Rick for Amber's help? Ziggy tries to say that Amber is just having a rough time and needs a break. But what does that have to do with Ziggy, Sheila asks? She keeps at Ziggy, who finally breaks down and admits that Amber became addicted to the pain killers her doctor prescribed when she lost her baby. How sweet, Sheila says! This is just what she was looking for to give Amber exactly what she deserves, and that does not include Rick Forrester. He deserves much better than her, Sheila says -- someone who's special, sweet and caring, but strong, like Erica. Ziggy thinks Sheila is nuts, but she says she has been preparing Erica for this her while life. How could Erica possibly fall in love with anyone other than Eric Forrester Jr., she asks? She talks about how she made a lot of mistakes and sacrifices for Erica over the years, and this is her chance to make up for it. Ziggy doesn't think Erica is the home wrecker type -- which is exactly why Eric Forrester Jr. is going to fall head-over-heels in love with her, Sheila predicts!

Sheila thinks how this time, she can help her daughter get what she really wants: Rick!
Ziggy leaves. Sheila looks around the apartment at pictures of Rick that Erica has hanging. It's finally going to happen for her little girl, she predicts. She may have let Erica down before, but not this time. If Erica wants Rick, Sheila predicts, then she will have him!
