Brooke, Whip, Deacon and Megan wonder where Bridget could be.
At Brooke's office at Forrester, she and Whip are trying to track Bridget down to no avail. As Brooke laments not knowing that the baby monitor was on, Whip says this is all Deacon's fault for even being there, as he has a way of inviting trouble -- and now they have it! Deacon and Megan arrive: when Deacon asks if they've found her, Brooke says she's checked everywhere and fears that Bridget must have overheard them. When Deacon says they don't know that, Whip asks what other reason Bridget would have for running off like this. Whip goes off and Deacon and tells him to either help or shut up, and Deacon is about to go back at Whip when Eric walks in and asks what's going on. When Brooke says she can't find Bridget, Eric admits that she is at the guest house. Brooke is about to leave when Eric tells her that while he does not know what it is, something is clearly wrong. He explains how he saw Bridget's car and found her in the guest house, where she only wanted to be alone. Brooke asks why Eric didn't call her sooner, and Eric explains that Bridget does not want to talk to her. Right now, however, Bridget is over there with Stephanie. Brooke says she has to go and Deacon wants to come with her, but she says if this is what she thinks it is, she has to go alone. Eric asks if that means that Brooke knows what's going on; she says she's not sure and races over there.

Stephanie convinces Bridget to wait before confronting Brooke and Deacon.
Meanwhile, at the guest house, Bridget tells Stephanie she can leave, but Stephanie is not about to do that. She is worried that Brooke and Deacon will come looking for Bridget and thinks Bridget needs to get her head together first before confronting them. Rather than thinking about HOW they did it, Bridget needs to accept that they DID it and move on, perhaps even not talking to them ever again. No, Bridget says, she will not let Brooke off that easy. She wants to confront Brooke now, but Stephanie suggests she think about what she wants to say first. Based on her own experience with Brooke, Stephanie is sure Brooke will deny everything before confessing and making excuses. Bridget recalls when she was in the hospital, Deacon said she had nothing left to lose by giving him another chance, but he was wrong: he took her mother! Stephanie says Bridget must heal before facing them and suggests that Bridget stay with her at Massimo's for a time while they let Brooke and Deacon stew in their own soup. She will not let either one of them find a way to make Bridget forgive them, like Deacon did in the hospital, so keep them in the dark like they did Bridget. While Stephanie goes to call Mass, Bridget wants to get some air, so Stephanie sends her to the pool where it's quiet.

Brooke races to the guest house, hoping she is not too late.
In her car, Brooke races to the guest house, remembering her conversation with Deacon as she drives. She guesses that Stephanie is probably telling Bridget to cut Brooke out of her life and thinks she would do anything to get Bridget to forgive her. But what if it's too late and she has already lost her daughter?

Megan plays peacemaker between Whip and Deacon.
Eric leaves Brooke's office as Whip promises to call if he hears anything. Once he is gone, Megan suggests Deacon go home. Whip thinks that is a good idea: he thinks Deacon should go home and back to get out of Brooke and Bridget's lives, like he should have done before! Megan tries to calm Whip down, but Whip says they've hit rock bottom because of Deacon and his screw-up. Deacon says it was an accident, but Whip says that's no excuse for taking away Bridget's life the way Deacon has. And imagine what the loss of Bridget will do to Brooke? He says Deacon should do them all a favor and get the hell out of their lives. As Megan comes between the two men, Deacon goes off on Whip for the phoney show of concern. Whip points out that when the Forresters find out, things won't be very healthy for Deacon around here, something Deacon could have avoided by staying away from Brooke like Whip wanted. But no, Deacon had to do things his way and take chances, and now the woman Deacon claims to care so much about, Brooke, is going to go through hell. In addition to Bridget, Whip points out, Stephanie will tear Brooke limb from limb! Whip storms out.

Megan stops Deacon from rushing to protect Brooke.
Deacon realizes that Whip is right and wants to rush to Brooke's side, but Megan stops him. He fears that Brooke will not be able to handle Stephanie right now on her own. If they were alone, Megan says, she would agree, but because Bridget is there, she thinks Stephanie will hold back. Bridget is likely to only thing that will keep Stephanie from losing her mind, Megan suggests.

Stephanie thinks about keeping her cool when Brooke arrives.
At the guest house, Stephanie laments that Brooke has nearly destroyed another life, and this time it's her own daughter. She guesses Brooke will only stop when there's no one left to hurt. At that point, Eric calls and asks if Stephanie got through to Bridget. When Stephanie lies that Bridget still has not said what is bothering her, Eric thinks maybe Brooke can get through to her when she arrives. Stephanie asks why Eric called Brooke, but Eric says that Brooke is really worried. He says Brooke should be there any minute. Thanks for the warning, Stephanie says. Eric asks Stephanie not to argue with Brooke, and Stephanie says she won't, promising to do the right thing for Eric's daughter. Eric thanks her and hangs up... and Stephanie then adds, even if it means killing Bridget's mother. She recalls her threat to Brooke that if Bridget ever found out, the wrath of God would not compare to what Stephanie would bring down on Brooke -- but that has to wait until Bridget heals, she thinks. Stephanie thinks she has to stay calm, for Bridget's sake: she can't lose control.

Saying she willl not let Brooke hurt Bridget again, Stephanie starts to choke her!
Stephanie watches as Brooke's car approaches. Brooke comes in and asks where Bridget is. Stephanie tries playing dumb, but Brooke doesn't buy it and demands to know what's going on. She admits that Bridget has found out about her and Deacon by overhearing "somebody talking," but Stephanie still plays dumb. She tries to leave, but Brooke demands to know what she is hiding. Stephanie says she had a private conversation with Bridget, but she is not about to betray her trust the way some people -- i.e. Brooke -- did and get into the details. Brooke says she is Bridget's mother, but Stephanie says Bridget does not need Brooke's help. How dare Stephanie come between her and her daughter, Brooke states! Stephanie says Brooke did that on her own by being such a slit and choosing Deacon over Bridget. Brooke says she gave up on Deacon, even though it was so hard to do it. Stephanie calls Brooke a little whiner and tells her to shut up. Brooke asks how Stephanie can be so mad at her when she was nice this morning at the shower. Stephanie says this morning was a mistake, because she should have known Brooke can never change. Brooke says she has changed, but Stephanie says Bridget knows anyway, and now Bridget is gone -- from Brooke's life forever, she hopes! Brooke starts searching for Bridget, but Stephanie stops her, saying she won't let Brooke kill Bridget with her filth and lies! Stephanie then grabs Brooke by the throat and starts to strangle her!
